Well guys guess what? I'm making another thread. I have been a fan of the Marlins most of my life. In 2003, this guy came along and I was really loving him. Quickly became one of my favorites. When I fooled around playing baseball whenever, I decided to copy his unorthodox pitching style. A couple times I thought of collecting his stuff but never really did it. He came to mind when I realized, "Hey whatever happened to Dontrelle, wasn't he a D'Back recently?" So I decided very recently to start a PC of him, like Boone and Carter. I already have around 20 cards and 1 decent card I'll try to post. After all, it has been a pretty good time to get his stuff. I remember going to a Marlins game on vacation in Florida back in 2004 and after the game tried getting his autograph. I wasn't into the autograph scene at all back then. The other autographs I had at the time were Vance Wilson, Mike Mordecai and Andy Fox. I will never forget, he was wearing an Elway throwback and was getting into an Escalade his girl was driving. Kept yelling "Dontrelle! Dontrelle!" but he just ignored everyone. Didn't care at the time though, it was cool just to actually see him. 3 years later I finally got his autograph after the game at Shea. It was tough but I got him as he was walking. So I will start up this collection and I hope he makes it back soon.
