I selected Player Colector though I'm down to 1.5 players to collect.
With Thortnon in SJ and Razor in Toronto, I now only collect their back issue in Bruins uniform. That leaves Nabokov as a full fledged ongoing player to collect.
I also dabble in Bruins team sets each year and a goalie related collection...base and cool inserts like Mask and Goaltending Glory and the like.
Thanks! Jordan Need the following: 2005 Topps Turkey Red Baseball (grey border): 20, 25, 28, 55, 70, 85, 106, 115, 120, 132, 149, 170, 181,184, 185, 214, 220, 233, 266 My Page

I'd call myself a Super Player Collector - Aaron Rodgers - Green Bay Packers - Cal. What started with a lot of 5 press pass cards in Summer of 2005, which I got hand Autographed by Aaron, migrated to collecting every Rookie card, insert, #'d, GU I could get a hold of. Got hooked on Ebay, trying to get anything I could under $20. Then picked up an Auto or two..(OK this is stating to sound like an AA or shall I say Card Collectors Anonymous confession) I started to buy lots of Rookies to get a hold of cards I didn't have. Then had a goal to get every card made, that I could get for less than $40. Parallel sets, I needed one of each number. Gu, I needed one of each color...At this point my price point has gone to to $55 or so. I have 35+ Autos, still need the high end ones. And have probably 85% of all cards with a BV of less than $50. And most I have from 2-75 of each. I still need to make a list of my needs... I also began to collect a couple of other 2005 players JJ Arrington, Terence Murphy, Carlos Rogers to get some of the nicer cards I couldn't get of Aaron. I also collected many, many 2005 Rookies, thinking I'd flip the players doing well to get more Rodgers. Also I had a terrible habit of Add-Ons, shipping was cheep so I bought more from the same seller of stars, RC or extras - And Lots, to get one card...This Is What I'm Trading now. I also collect RC of other Packers and then added GU & Autos of Packers, 49ers from the 70-90's when I was a fan. So yes, my name is Robert and I'm a Super Collector and I'm addicted...BTW - I'll take any Aaron cards you want to trade...

Player Super Collector
If there is a Larry Walker out there I do not have it will be mine soon enough. My den is like a shrine with all the bats and jerseys. Then I am not even talking about his cards, photos etc.

QUOTE(Marino63 @ Apr 28 2007, 11:44 AM) I think I'll have to put myself in the same category as Ken did. The problem with having so many categories is that you're likely to fall into more than one (or, in my case, MANY more than one). I'll accept "dabbler" because I can define that as "collecting whatever interests me". I collect Patrick Roy and Dan Marino cards, so that makes me a player collector. I collect Avs, Dolphins and Lakers cards so team collectors fits too. I do occasionally build sets. But the sets I work on most are vintage ones (pre 1980 for the most part). I collect auto/gu stuff. I do bust boxes, hoping for big pulls to finanace the next box I bust. Ehhh...just put me in the "Addicted" category and leave it at that. Then, I guess I should be defined as a 'dabbler' as well. I collect Sosa and Wright quite a bit, although I'm thinking of adding a third to the mix. Plus, I also collect one set (2005 Sweet Spot Classic Material). And, yeah - Addicted would work for me too.
