1997 Score Series II Baseball Box

Well it didn't take me long to get the 2nd box. Like my 1st 97 Score box, I got a great deal on this. 36 packs and 10 cards per. Some subsets, parallels and inserts to be found. Unlike the first release, the 2nd series has some subsets - 3 of them.

It can be an enjoyable break. 220 card set from 360 cards, I was actually short one rookie and at least it wasn't a major one - Kevin Orie. The mojo gods weren't present with the parallels. There were fewer of the Showcase Series in series 2 and only one was a rookie. However I did pull a nice holofoil proof of a subset card. I pulled the worst subject from Blast Master but turned it around with one of the best pulls from the tougher chase insert. It came with sacrifice, coming up without a Heart Of The Order - seeded in every 23 packs. More breaks to come.

That VLAD Guerrero RC was worth something when he was playing! You should get the Hobby Reserve boxes instead of the regular ones since they have the hard to find Reserve Collection Parallels.

Yeah I looked into them but just not what I was looking for. Wanted to go after the set and they are different. Those parallels look sweet though. Btw I recently busted a Goudey box, curious if you ever got one of those Gridiron Greats of Brunell?
