Got 2 in today....one Seahawk and on Steeler. Both of these items were sent to their home address, both were sent 2 items (one card and one custom index card). Unfortunately I did not recieve the index card from the Steeler (IT WAS SWEET TOO!) Still a GREAT day for me TTM: Enjoy!

I'm not sure really....I put a little thought but nothing spectacular in my letters. I honestly do not believe that many of them read them anyway. I have WAY more success with the home addresses than I do team, at least for all sports except baseball. Seems like more than half the time I send to the team addy I get a standard letter and a preprinted photo in return. I ALWAYS ask to personalize them for 2 reasons. #1 it gives some athletes the feeling that you are not just going to turn around and sell it. #2 who the heck doesn't want them to sign it to you personally???

I sincerely appreciate any that do sign, especially since they are signing so much for the card companies already. I admire all that take the time out for the fans. I collect the autos of players as a hobby, not a business. Maybe my letters show that which gives me more success....who knows.

I use Adobe Photoshop with a 3x5 white panel. I find a pic on the internet that will fit nicely on the area without taking up too much space. Then I find a team logo (which I have almost all of them saved now) and adjust the color so it is almost a watermark. after I get it all laid out I run print preview and make sure everything fits. I really like the autos on the index cards better than the trading cards. The surface is much better, and there just isn't another auto like it....a 1/1 so to speak.

Not good. MRI verified 2 herniated disks on my left side (the bottom 2, lumbar)

Here is the crappy part, I have to wait until mid april until I can see a neursurgeon! I can't drive, or even ride in the car...so I can't make it to work. Going to be a frustrating month. Oh, my insurance company will not let me go to a chiropractor...I have no idea why.

LOL, I would have sent him 2....I was going to send again but if he did keep the index he would know.

I get the home address through a book by Harvey Meiselman. He is a long time collector with a great reputation. The book has over 9K football player home address. That doesn't always mean that you will get something in return though. Although, I have had a great success to failure rate.
