Been a lot of years since I have been excited to buy a box, but I dropped by the card shop today and saw they put out Classics again this year! Couldn't help but grab the first box without doing any research on it....will bust it here shortly.

And...I should have done some research. This was a real flop for me and will prevent me from buying more. One hit...a Mike Evans auto #d to 15, otherwise, no GU, no #d....nothing that really caused any excitement...Going out and checking out variations (ugh..really creates a way for experienced collectors to take advantage of others), I got one no name of Rivers, variation of Brees, red back of Brissett, blank back of Darron Lee. Yawn....

Panini is going to ruin the card collecting market. If you notice you are getting less hits and more no-bodies in the boxes. It's to maximize their profits. Anything really affordable and with decent hits goes to wayside. example Momentum, Select. We are paying good money to only get crap product. Their products are getting worse and costing more, to only pull cards you couldn't sell in the dollar bin.

ONLY looking for Brady, Barry Sanders, Payton, Jim Brown, HOF and Old School Autos or Multi-Colored Patches.

I do not collect base or inserts, so don't offer them

Rabs all the sports monopolies are ruining it in my opinion. Before if you didn't like a product from one manufacturer you had two others to chose from, now you are stuck until they release the next product in most sports. Glad I stopped doing football.

Sorry about the bad break. I used to love Classic, but wasted too much money on it in the past.
