Do you or anyone else on this forum have tips or advice on flea markets and yard sales in terms of how to find cards and other sports items? Or is it really just going to as many as possible and hoping you find something? I never go to flea markets or yard sales but if I'm missing out on some cheap or rare items maybe I should start.

QUOTE(Rabs @ May 28 2017, 11:23 AM) Do you or anyone else on this forum have tips or advice on flea markets and yard sales in terms of how to find cards and other sports items? Or is it really just going to as many as possible and hoping you find something? I never go to flea markets or yard sales but if I'm missing out on some cheap or rare items maybe I should start. Flea Markets are hit and miss but I have lots of luck at yard sales.................here are my finds over the past several weeks: A box of autographs - I went to a sale where a little old lady had a box of autographs for sale for $1. They were her husbands and when he died she put all of them in a box and put them in a closet until the sale. On top i saw a bunch of framed Dodgers players like Kirk Gibson, Sandberg, and others. She said her husband was from L.A. and loved the team so he would go to personal signings and do TTM of the players. Well, when i got home and started unloading the box I found a framed autograph of. . . . . . . . . . . . . . HANK AARON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
