Recently, I started a thread and after a lot of posts I got the idea that the CZT is very busy and a little overwhelmed. I think it would be a great idea if we pick a few more people to be on the Membership Team. There are few people in particular that I thought would fit the description. Gforce was the first person I thought of, but there are a few other members with over 5,000 post that are on frequently. Does anyone know if Bob is the only who can activate new CZT members or can other CZT members do it? I thought it would be helpful if a few more people joined the, but you guys tell me if you think it's a good idea.

I do think it's a good idea as well. Same amount work / more people = less work. Roadrunner, Kiansdad, broscards, etc. could be some great CZT guys.

Ah right. Still, we have plenty of great members who can lend a hand as a CZT.

I don't feel that there is a lack of CZT members on this site.

We have plenty, but personally I think we should demote the ones that are'nt as active, and if they do come back to being active regulary they get their CZT spot back.

I think it's a decent idea. We should demote the inactive one and replace them with people who are active.

I think the CZT could be expanded a bit, but when I voted "more" I only imply a couple of people.

While it certainly is a good idea, who exactly would promote those people and give them those "powers" so to say? I believe Bob is the only one who can do that and he's no where to be seen. Not only that, but I doubt anything would be done even if he was here.

I haven't said that, but that what I've been thinking. Maybe two to four new member would be nice. Enough members to cut down on the work load a little, but not so many that it puts some of the member out of doing anything. I think 2-4 is the right amount.

coltsfan- That is why it's the suggestion box. It might not happen now, but if Bob comes back, it might happen. I was just wanting to see where everybody stands on this idea.

That is the good thing about TCC. If many of the topics/posts from the past few days were on another site, they wouldn't have lasted very long.

Just a side note but i got a chuckle when I read..... "but there are a few other members with over 5,000 post that are on frequently". Please don't associate amount of posts with amount of time spent on the site. Speaking for myself (and I'm sure there are others) a majority of my time on the site is spent "reading" and "visiting" a variety of topics and posts to which I feel no need to post a reply or comment just for the sake of posting. If I feel the need to read--I do so without feeling obligated to post a reply unless I feel the topic inspires and or warrants a reply (such as now).
I guess the question is are the current mods having a hard time doing and or keeping up with the load they have? Ask five people and get five different answers!!!!!!!!! You forgot to put the "haven't seen any problems so why ask" option on the poll---thats what I would have checked.
