Let me start off on the right foot by saying i really do appreciate the collector zone team members and how much they help the site. All of them are generous and helpful people. I've just had a few inncidents that I think could be improved. If you are the person that did this please know that I have no problem with you and I know you were probably just trying to help. Just some constructive critizism to possibly help the site. Well, one time (and I know this happened to a lot of people) my banner/signature was deleted out of no where. Apparently it was too big. Now I understand the frusteration that large banners cause and I have no problem fixing it. But coming out of no where, without an e-mail reminder and deleting it? At least an e-mail was the least that could have been done. I would have much rather the moderator came out and tols me so I could have fixed it, but now I have to start over. The banner was hard work and was deleted by who ever made it for me. I could have simply resized it if I got an e-mail.
Another time I had a poll for the regions that TCC members live in. It didn't include the usual north,south,east, west, midwest. I decided to make it more user specific and add regions like: great lake, mid-atlantic, and different "sub regions" So I post it and the next hour I come back and some sections have been deleted or renamed to fit the CZT members opinion on how it should be. No e-mail in sight... Honestly, that was my post, I could name the regions whatever I wanted. If they had their wn opioin on what they should be named, start you own poll. Now I appreciate the fact that you might have been trying to help. But at least clear it up with an e-mail.

Sorry about the rant I just wanted to voice my opinion. But please don't take this the wrong way. I really to appreciate what the moderators do on this site, I just thought a little democratic checks and balances was neccesary.

Just because it is in the past doesn't mean that it has changed. If it happened yesterday I still would be the same issue.

Let me be a little more clear... Please spend your time enjoying today - including TCC - and stop worrying about minor issues that took place months ago or even yesterday.

Honestly, I realize that I haven't been able to be around as much lately due to the demands of the "real world". However, I've been around enough to notice that some of our members are spending too much time making mountains out of mole hills.

Life is short and has its share of big, life-affecting issues. Let's not waste too much energy and time on things that are rather unimportant in the grand scheme of things!

While communication is important, I think Bob is right on this one. If you wanted to make an issue out of this, you should have brought it up right when it happened, not months later. Obviously CZT members are always looking to make TCC better, and I hope that they will communicate when it is necessary, but I don't think that a huge issue needs to be made of this.

Actually, Parker, you are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Furthermore, I think it's safe to assume that members of the Collector Zone team understand the importance of communication. In fact, the volunteers that make up the Collector Zone team have spent countless hours of their time working to faciliate communication between members of the Collector Zone community - ranging from setting expectations about what type of communication is acceptable to aiding in the communication necessary to resolve issues with collector-to-collector transactions.

Might I suggest that communication is a two-way street that involves listening as well? For example, your signature is once again wider than the guidelines that have been documented for quite some time.

While the posts on here suggest that i am making a mountain out of a mole hill. I strongly believe that I am, in fact, not. As I started out the post saying how much I appreciate the moderators. You guys don't understand that I am not trying to bring up issues about those specific events. I am, as you said Bob, using them as examples. I nener intened for this to become a huge issue I just wanted to make a simple suggestion to increase the ease of use and enjoyment on this site. I knew that this post would be taken the wrong way and that some people might find this offensive. These issues and this overall matter is not and was never a serious issue with me. I just wanted to shed some light on the fact. I think it is not me but the recent posts that have turned this from a small suggestion to a small fight. I am not in the mood for fighting and never intened for this thread to turn into that.

If you want communication.. Look at the confusion your original choices mustve have caused by members posts!

Indy did effectively communicate with you in the very last post in the thread!

You even mention yourself as being short-sighted about some POLL options on page 1..

I'm following you, Parker. I just wish you'd stop defending your reason for posting this topic long enough to read what I've actually said in response.

Let me add one additional comment...

I fully understand that the Collector Zone team members can always do a little better - just as I can always do a little better and just as each and every member can always do a little better. However, in the end, we're all human beings and we'll make a few mistakes and we'll always have situations where we could have handled things better. Understanding that concept helps one to see a mole hill - not a mountain.
