I love going to garage sales, flea markets, rummage sales, and just about anywhere you might find the unusual item for only a quarter laugh.gif ............ So I figured I would start sharing some of my finds with my friends on TCC

Just about everything I will list is under $5 (because I'm poor sad.gif ) and is currently displayed in my mancave; however, if it would look better in somebody's PC then LET'S MAKE A DEAL biggrin.gif

Item #1 - An OJ Simpson 1982/83 promotional card

I found this item at a flea market and paid $.50 for it but can't find anything about it on the internet. I original bought it because it has the Buffalo Bills HOF running Back in a San Fransico 49ers uniform with the uniform number 32 and a facsimile signature.

The back says that it is a 1983 Special Edition Souvenir card from his price guide to football cards.

It is not in the best shape but I figured it would look good in my Hall of Fame collection.

Item #2 - A Basketball grab bag

I absolutely love grab bags and try to get at least one or two every time I go to a swap meet or flea market. Along with the element of surprise and variety of cards, you get a nice bag to carry your lunch to work in the next day ........... A win win smile.gif

I picked this one up a few weeks ago at a flea market in Bowling Green and paid only a dollar for it and, other then the fact I don't really collect basketball, it turned out to be a pretty good bag (value wise)

The first card I pulled out was a Lionel Chalmers Rookie Review Upper Deck Jersey Card which really blew me away because you usually don't get jersey cards in a grab bag

Then I got 4 1969/70 Topps Basketball cards - card #19 Tom Meschery, #72 Tom Sanders, #69 Ray Scott, and a #66 Jim King ............. In mint condition these cards are selling on EBay for about $40/$50 but mine are in fair condition so I would guess their value at about $5 per card

The Jim King card is kind of confusing because it has Cincinnati on the front. Was there a team in Cincinnati or is this his college/rookie card??

Finally, I got 7 1976/77 Topps Basketball cards ......... They are in rough condition and look like they were taped in a book or something but still nice cards.

Overall, the value of this grab bag is $25 smile.gif smile.gif
