For those that haven't seen my collection, I specifically collect sequence # 264 or 0264 in SPx football. Example below...following the footsteps of Jaderock, I will share with the rest. (BTW...264 is short for my birthdate, 02-26-64).

You need to drop by more often...I knew you collected 264, but who's that Reggie Bush guy?!? hehe!

Here's an odd question...have you ever gone to a signing and asked for the inscription "264"?!? Now that would be COOL!

Very nice cards.

That's a novel idea. I should collect 911, because that's my birthday, 9/11/78. Which is next week, by the way. I have a bad birthday. It makes me sad.

Will be around a little more. Actually, of the thousands upon thousands of ebay pictures I have looked at the Reggie was the first that I found of 264 that didn't come down in my search. He had it as #d264. But this week found the second such lucky item by looking at all the pictures and it was another Bush, Michael that is. Don't have in hand yet.

2-64..2-64.. hut hut hike.. "GREAT"

man that boston like my dewayne bates is fading terribly! Yea, it is, but only one 0264.

Here are a couple more:

Yea, last year I had all the gold versions graded. Still have the VYoung to grade and just picked up the Mario Williams and another 06 from the bay. Depending on the player and conditions, I will slowly grade the rest. My 04 Phillip Rivers got a 7.5 which sucked. But it is slabbed and staying in my possession. Will send the AD from this year in as well. Usually like to send about 10 at a time, using the promotions or discounts to do so.

What is your longest "dry" spell and what was your best "week"?
Which card cost you above and beyond the normal serial number simply because some one KNOW you wanted 264...if that's ever happened?
aka spider
Wow Bob you have a sick collection smile.gif. can you help me out here smile.gif
chaz4
OMG that Adrian Peterson is the Sickest card. NICE!
captkirk42
Bob,
Those are some nice cards. An interesting collecting condition. It must be sort of frustrating when you see a card you like and would want but it's got the wrong #.

The longest spell was probably this summer, a good 3+ months. It is always a feast when the new product comes out, and fortunately when football starts more of the older SPx begins to show up. Picked up a couple 2006, still waiting in the mail. And just won the 2000 Lavernues Coles last night.

Best week, probably was when I got the Bush, Leinart and AJ Hawk last year.

The above and beyond award goes to the guy who held the Vince Young hostage for $350, when they were selling for $200 at the time.

I am glad to see your Brunell post is still alive and well here. What about you for the same questions above?

It makes it equally addicting to just normal collecting. Good Luck.

Today's mail addition has bee about 2 1/2 months in the making. Seller with low feedback of 25, had this card in a lot he was selling. Well, winning bidder with zero feedback won. After a couple of weeks I saw no posting of feedback for either, so I emailed the seller to see if he still had the lot. Assumed he shilled his own auction and won. 2 more weeks went by with no response, so I emailed him again. A couple of weeks after that, I get a response saying he still had it and what did I want to offer. So, I make an offer and a few more weeks, I ask again if he got my offer. Finally, I get a response of yes and an address to send money order to. Well today it showed up, not the greatest autograph or player, but an addition to my PC.
