It's been a very hectic few days on my end, but I wanted to mention this...

The TCC Collector Zone reached another major milestone on 3/30/07 when we reached 5,000 completed transactions!

Thanks to each and every one of you that have chosen to join the Collector Zone! Each of you help to make TCC an amazing site!

Thanks also to the men and women who volunteer their time to help as members of the TCC Team!

While this is certainly a major milestone, it's really just the beginning though! So, we'll take a brief moment to enjoy this milestone, but then we're going to jump right back in and continue to do what we can to make TradingCardCentral.com the leading site for trading card collectors!

Expect even bigger and better things in 2007!

Another TCC milestone!!

The 5000th completed transaction was between cdoyal and redmac04 (click here for details).

This also seems like a good excuse to give away a few cards. I'll contact them both at some point tomorrow.

One of the unique aspects of TCC is that we make this information readily available by displaying the real-time percentages on the main home page.

How do you calculate that? Based on transactions or what?

I think a machine calculates it

Code was written which simply performs the necessary calculations every time the home page is viewed. The calculations take into account pending transactions, completed transactions, failed transactions and failed transactions where fraud was involved.

We added another 1000+ completed transactions in less than 6 weeks and have now passed 6000 completed transactions!
