This "contest" was inspired by previous "Chains" most notably the contest/link "The Chain" by Marc (msw_sportscards).

THE CONCEPT: is very simple I ship off a package to the first person in the list of participants, that person after oohing and aahing at the contents picks one, two or more cards (how many they please if any) from the stack, replaces those cards with different cards and ships the stack to the next person on the list. If they wish they may add more cards to the stack, provided only cards are shipped, (Marc's original chain got some snags when people started adding memorabilia and full card sets to the package making shipping costs phenomenal) Then the next person does likewise (the oohing and aahing, the picking, the replacing, the shipping) until the package gets to the last person on the list who after the aforementioned sequence of actions (the oohing and aahing etc...) then returns the package to me. Hopefully I will then quickly start up a new chain to keep this fun process ongoing.

Last chain the main rule was the replacement card had to be a different year from the card it was replacing. That doesn't need to be followed this time I think it confused things a bit more. Most of the time the replacement card will be a different year anyway.

The only real rule is if you take something out it must be replaced with something approximately equal in value, quality, cardness.

There is no time limit for how long you keep the chain stack, but try to keep things moving so it doesn't get stale. The last round averaged about a week (6 to 7 days) turnaround time which was good. Holiday shipping caused a bit of a delay but nothing major.

Delivery Confirmation is not required but it is requested so that the group can track where the package currently is.

This probably goes without saying but when your turn is getting close please PM the next person in line to get their mailing address if you don't already have it.

Sorry guys I haven't started this round up yet. Hadn't had time to load up a package. This took the back seat to a bunch of other things at this time.

I don't have much in the way of Basketball so there will be very little if any Hoops stuff.

I'll see what I can do this week.
