Are we thinking about doing Prime again for the October break?

In all fairness, the group did vote for prime and decades.. so I asumed we'd do that.. even though I didnt want to

Well, since we are down two teams from last month, not sure we can do both of those. Will have to look at the budget to figure out what we can do. In addition, Prime has gone up to $220 at DA.

Right now, I am figuring the other two that have not checked in are still in. Based on that we would have 12 members or roughly $260-270 to spend.

I'm OK with Prime again, but ask ourselves..Were those 4 hits from last month worth 50 bucks each?

Well.. the price is up so its $55 now and dont forget about the base cards!

Brian, it was 5 hits ($40 each roughly) and 2 base and I kind of agree. I did ok as I got two hits, but the one barely sells for $10-20 (Bortuzzo), the other is all over the board (Kadri) from $15-99, most recent in the $40s. Dwight's tag is probably the only hit that will command over the per piece price and the quad gu I would guess might be a $20 card if that?

The problem with Prime is that 1 person gets a decent hit, then hopefully 3-4 others get a nice hit. I am not big on high end as it is usually high risk with less reward and I agree some of those hits were not worth the $40 paid for them. I am OK with other stuff if that is what the group wants to do. Right now there is nothing new with "hits" out (only Score and OPC) and the stuff due out is too team specific (Rivalry is all Canadiens/Leafs) which does only 2 teams any good in the group, and others are more than our budget (Dominion).

There are products we did not do like SPGU and others, we could do those instead. I am only asking on the Prime because if we are doing it, I want to try to get payments in and get it ordered, as I saw some on another site at $200 still and would rather pay that than DAs $220, before they raise their prices as well.

im fine with prime as well .... it was 200 on blowout ... i just grabbed a master case of titanium ... got it for a sick price so i couldnt pass it up

Might as well do it one last time, maybe do some SPGU next month, or some cheaper boxes on sale, don't think we ever did high end since I been here.

Tommy thanks that was where I was watching it at $200, just hoping it does not go up like it did on DA. Thinking it might not as Dominion is releasing today, so that will be eating up some peoples card budgets as the new stuff gets more attention. Will have to see what happens.

Up to the other members, We can bump out Prime, and pick other boxes if all the slots are not full, to big of a gamble for just one box and something cheap. What options besides Prime would there be?

Artifacts releases tomorrow. Other than that everything else would have to be from last year as the other new boxes are $200+ boxes like Prime, Dominion $390, and the Cup.
