Florida found 53,000 dead people, along with 2,600 "ineligible" voters on their voter registration polls. That, along with the fact that the left wants it to be illegal to check ID to vote means that anyone could walk in and claim they were any of those 54,600 voters and vote.http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/05/17...600-ineligible/

Why should I pay NYS for a photo id just to vote? I am registered and on the rolls and that should be enough.
How will you prove that you are who you say you are? How are you going to prove that you are an American citizen qualified to vote when you register? How are the guys running the polls supposed to know you are who you say you are once you are registered to vote? Perhaps I could just walk right in and say I'm you and vote in your place?
I am not saying it should be a requirement to show an ID when you vote. Currently, in Texas, your voter registration card is enough when you actually vote and I'm fine with that. However, everyone should be required to show an ID when they go register to vote. Otherwise, there is no real way of knowing whether or not those people registering to vote are even legally eligible.
