This set is due to release next month. Most of the info on it is on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/MarsAttacks

This year marks the 50th anniversary of one of THE most important non-sports card sets ever released. I've been bugging Topps about it for the past two years, I'm honored to be part of it.

This set is based solely on the original card set, not the horrendous Tim Burton train wreck of a movie.

Here are some of my sketch cards. I had a blast doing these. I painted every one, hoping to capture the feel of the original set. Plus I had fun with some of them. smile.gif

Dang Ted, the Munch Mayhem had me rollin'....

Glad you folks like them! About 1/4 of my cards are some kind of parody. smile.gif

This set could be a real sleeper hit. I know Topps is promoting the heck out of it.

Those may be better than the real set. TCC may have to commission you to do a set. One for each major sport and then have a contest in each respective catogory for the card. (hint, hint)

Very cool. The Parody element makes them cooler.

I don't understand companies that "promote the heck out of it", but don't put anything on their website.

Any chance you have a source for a real checklist so this can be put on OpenChecklist?
