A few things I noticed after looking at the pictures Panini posted on their blog and Twitter:

-The pull-out autos in GG may pull out from the long side.
-The acetate autos in Elite look great and the players seem to be putting some nice inscriptions on them (David Wilson put his Twitter handle!)
-Slideshow autos will be back.
-Gold pens are in use for some autographs.
-Very large football swatches are in play somewhere (whole card sized).
-Also some signatures on smaller football swatches.
-Manu-patches/letters are back
-No sign of white pleather so far!

Anybody else notice cool stuff from Topps?

The only things I have seen from Topps is the use of throwback designs. I saw some 1965 "Tall Boys" designed cards that were being signed as well as 1984 Topps Retro designed cards that were being signed. Nothing innovative, just the re-hash of older designs.
