Can someone explain to me why a customer needs to wait for 4-8 months before he can request a replacement. When a stock isnt available or is depleted?

i just find it unreasonable to wait for months before you can request for something not in their stocks . i do understand that they have policies but for the sake of customer service i guess LOGIC should prevail over policies
Maybe they want you to wait so that when they file for bankruptcy you totally get shafted??? More than likely it is just because they don't give a darn about you the collector!!!
