Hi,
I've been away for a while, but wanted to share my successes as I recently sent out my first batch of requests for 2011 (pretty late, I know!).
I've had my first success today, from a tried and true TTM superstar:
Henri Richard -13 days
905-4300 Place Des Cageaux, Laval, QC H7W 4Z3
4/2

To view some of my past successes, please go

Then the next day, while waiting for pizza in Chicago, just outside of Giordano's on Rush Street, we bumped into none other than Mr.T:

(I only had a Hawks pocket Schedule on me that I had picked up earlier in the day.)

I pity the fool that isn't impressed by Mr. T!

To top it off, I finally was in attendance for a Wings win, my first in 30 years! Their win in Chicago was the first time in about a dozen Wings games that I've attended where it finally happened. It's been frustrating, especially considering that my first Wings game was circa 1980 when Gretzky and the Oilers came to the Joe Louis Arena.

Nice success. Is $10 reasonable for Perreault? Just asking because I really don't know.....

I have a hard time paying for an autograph through the mail. I can rationalize it if it's in person, but can't really do it TTM.

I've seen him sign for about $20-$25 at some shows, so if you want to add it to your collection, I guess TTM would be a lot cheaper. Again, my problem is that I can't rationalize paying for a TTM autograph.
Looking on eBay, there is a listing for the same two cards that I sent in, signed, for under $20. For the most part, they're listing for about $15 there, but there is one as low as $5.

Thanks guys. I hate when they try to sign it in blue or black on the front. I'm happy to just have them sign the back of the card, but love when they come through with the silver like this.

Mailbox has been dry. Only thing in it is cobwebs.

On the plus side, my wife hooked me up with a Living Social deal this past weekend. It was for VIP access to the Legends Classic game (part of the HHOF weekend) and exclusive after-party. For those who don't know, the Legends Classic is the basically the Oldtimers game where the inductees are presented with their HHOF blazers and then later come out and join the others on the ice.
Anyway, it started with meeting 60 goal man Dennis Maruk during the intermission.
