I have a couple of DK Jumbos from the early 90s, Ruben Sierra and Juan Gonzalez.  I also have a Will Clark Jumbo "Spirit of the Game" Insert. I wouldn't expect as much as the Jumbo DK though. I would settle for $400. laugh.gif

I'm interested in the Jumbo Spirit of the Game, but I'm also interested in keeping my wife. laugh.gif

Any chance we could work out a deal for it?

Ted,

It will never leave my possession unless it is heading to yours. thumbsup.gif

Ted no offense... but if I had ANY rare Will Clark... that thing would be on ebay in half a second laugh.gif

Things like that make me kind of glad I regularly don't buy anything of my guys. laugh.gif

While the final auction price might suggest so, I didn't win this one. tongue.gif

Makes what I paid for the 1987 contract look like a steal, that only cost me a little more than a third of what this went for! ohmy.gif
Kmart6nets
Sheesh! That's a cool unique piece though, got a scan of the 87 contract?

No problem!! What's weird about the contracts though, is that mine extends through the 1990 season, but the one in the auction extends 3 years into 1992, so that means it would start with the 1990 season which my contract already covers. Hmmmm.... huh.gif

SFGiants - Thanks man, it's definitely one of the treasures in my Clark collection! What's really awesome about it is his full signature - I've never seen another like it!

I have one of those, I think I paid around $10 for it, I think that's about average for the Clark.

Well yea but you also have to look at the card. The Edgerrin is a jersey card /32. And one you showed was a auto/patch /5! Theres a big difference in the 2 cards. I also seen a RC /250 psa 10 sell for $41+shipping. Just a gold foil Rc, no autos or jerseys. I also have seen his SP authentic gold /25 sell for over $600!!! And I think it only book $200-$250 something like that! And there was another one that sold same card for something close to that price, but it was a psa 10. But still.

Heres another crazy one IMO.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...RK%3AMEWAX%3AIT

But I can say some of the Clarks are crazy. Was just saying I know how you feel! Normal jersey cards of Edgerrin don't bring over $10. So for one to go for over $50 dlvd is crazy!
