I picked up these beauties a few years ago and have been sitting on them ever since. The question is, should I hold them longer to see if he pans out, or dump them now before he stinks up the joint???
Personally I like the kid. He had a nice college career, and I think he is a great sleeper.
Both of these cards are VERY mint too!!!

From a Bears fan.. I would say sell them now while you can.
He just doesnt have the arm strength to be a threat downfield or for the out patterns of 15+ yards.
I would guess that Rex will be back under center before the midway point of the season.

I don't have much in them so it wouldn't be too tragic if he didn't pan out.

Depends, have you been following the market on these cards? Are they at a higher selling point then they have been in awhile? More importantly, will you make money on them? If you buy things to flip them later, you really have to follow the card's market.

05 was a great looking set...and the gold versions are awesome with the bigger patch windows!
if you don't have much interest in them I'd sell now in case he plays horrible...but I'm kinda on the bandwagon of him being a sleeper too...I think he has what it takes!

that #/25 one is sick

i would definatly say hang on to that..
possibly sell the regular version.
I dont even know are they selling
well right now?

I would think sell the /25 One
Keep the other one.
If he does not pan out then at-least you probably made more on the /25 then you paid for both of them.
If he becomes pretty good then you have a Rookie Auto Patch anyway!!

I still have these two cards. Should I sell them now, or wait a little more???

If you still have them now, you should probably hold on for a few more weeks.
The Bears schedule isnt that bad over the next month (Atl, Min, BYE, Det), so he could put up some good numbers and heat them up a little more.
But then the schedule starts gettting a little tougher and the weather will get a little worse for the passing game in Chicago and his stats should cool off.
I have to say, Im still not sold on him (its not like I am sold on Grossman either.. lol), but he has done better then I expected so far this season. Still think he lacks the arm strength to be a threat in the long passing game, but with teams putting 8 and 9 in the box to try to stop Forte, he doesnt have to go too deep to throw a completion that could go for a lot of yards (like Olsens 52 yarder last week

)

I'd go with most people and day sell, though I'd only sell one while his value is high because from here he can either reach that elite plateau or go back down to what he's been the past 3 yrs, but great looking cards

I hear ya about a soft market. I don't think dispoable income items like cards will get their real value for a few years now. It is definitely a buyers market. That's one of the main reasons I am sitting on the Ortons still.

I still have these, Would you consider selling them now while the Broncos are still undefeated??? Or hang on to them???

Will you make a profit? Do you think there is still room for them to grow? Are you happy with the profit you can make if there is one to be made?
Those are the questions you have to ask yourself.

Hold on to the Gold version because they(Broncos) are on a roll and then sell the regular version. Your best possible scenario.

Wow surprised you held on to these until this day (Great that you did though!). But im thinking its close to its peak value...But if they do make it into the playoffs they may go even higher. The thing is they might lose this week (Playing @San Diego, with Chargers having a by week) and everyone might jump off the bandwagon. Its really up to you though. If you think they will continue to be as good as they have been, hold on to them for a little bit longer, but if you dont think they can keep this up then sell sell sell! I actually dont think they cant keep up with this pace (but then again i didn't think they would beat NE..)

Sell one (I'd say regular version).
They have a tough schedule coming up, so not sure if he can keep his hot streak alive. An auction ending on Monday Night would be ideal, in case he has a big game.

Sell both before the old Orton creeps back in! A career 75.1 QB rating <<< that is SAD for this generation of QBs.
