Oh wait.....they're not gonna make the playoffs.....I guess his season is over tongue.gif

ESPN said he was out  until the playoffs wink.gif

Do you think that everything that ESPN says is right and accurate? Dirk had a press confrence on Monday and said that he was out until the playoff's AT THE LATEST. Read a little more carefully wink.gif

oooooooooooooo he said read more carefully!!
hernant15
Dallas has a more difficult shedule than the Spurs. But half of those games will be very close between the top-seeded teams on the Conference.
baseballguy601
O thanks for the lesson.

I think Dirk needs to play, because then, when they miss the playoffs, he can kick another treadmill or whatever and blame himself.

You know why Bruce Bowen camps out on the perimiter and refuses to drive in the lane right?

Because he knows if he drives someone will cheap shot him the way he does to the rest of the NBA
baseballguy601
Haha you avoided the issue.

And your basis on this assumption is?
baseballguy601
Did you see him last year after they got eliminated from the playoffs?
baseballguy601
Don't look now... but If the Spurs win today , scratch that, WHEN the Spurs win today, the will be First in the West.

The Mavericks are #7 for everyone who is counting wink.gif
hernant15
Spurs up 70-51 against Rockets; I love how Scola is playing, he's just amazing.
The only thing I hate about this is that his cards' prices don't seem to stop raising.
baseballguy601
Yeah they look AMAZING!!!

I feel confident about this Spurs team.. I think they'll do a great job at the Playoffs. Imagine the Spurs with Scola.. it would be awesome.
baseballguy601
1st PLACE IN THE WEST!!!!!!
Kmart6nets
Worst flagrant foul call ever?
baseballguy601
Yeah that was a bad call.
Kmart6nets
I can't tell you how disappointed I am this Mavs-Warriors game isn't on tonight. I'd even stay up late to watch it. Thankfully I think they both play again Tuesday night, on national TV.

Shane Battier. He was called for a flagrant on Manu.

Manu kinda flopped, which is what he does best wink.gif
Kmart6nets
I was talking about the Bobby Jackson call. I think he fouled Kurt Thomas?

Horrendous call.
baseballguy601
Oh yeah it was Bobby Jackson. Was that on the 3?

After watching basketball for a lot of years I seem not to understand what is the flop. laugh.gif What's that play? I know it's said that Manu is the biggest flopper in the league or something like that, but I have no idea.
baseballguy601
Basically he gets tapped and he acts like some hit him with a Bowling ball and he falls to the floor.
Kmart6nets
Here's a flop:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEef1T_lqwA

On a related note, almost NOTHING annoys me more than local commentators who are completely biased and whine about calls. Although it's an obvious flop, let it go!

Sorry, mini-rant.
baseballguy601
yeah that's a HUGE flop laugh.gif

but those commentators are stupid.

The Spurs notched their eighth straight win Tuesday night with a 116-92 drubbing of the Warriors. Tony Parker led with 26 points and Tim Duncan added 17 and 12 rebounds as San Antonio outscored Golden State 62-28 in the paint.

The Spurs are 8-2 in their last 10 game and are the #2 seed in west, 0.5 games behind the New Orleans Hornets, who are also 8-2 in their last 10.

The spurs are 52-23 this season.

Let's face the Mavs and take them home in the First Round laugh.gif

I don't think that will happen, they are 2 games ahead of Golden State, although I saw that they had the worst schedule for the final games. 3 games they can definitely lose (Lakers, Suns and Nuggets on the road). Let's see how they can handle the pressure, but I think they'll be in.
baseballguy601
Yeah maybe, but then Alan will be right, AND THAT CAN'T HAPPEN!!!

Big game tonight, let's see if Duncan and co show up for the Jazz.
chopinalex

tex333
