I have been extremely intrigued with this site over the past few days and I must say I'm awfully happy. I discovered a community which I knew not existed online although I should have known it was here. I have been collecting sports cards for as long as I can remember and I must admit, I have been on a hiatus for over 7-8 years. I slowly started purchasing pack after pack....box after box......simply to catch up for all the years I've been missing out.

So that's my introduction.......I'm here......I"m a newbie.......mind me if I'm not familiar with all the lingo but I figured I'd start off a new topic as I have recently been requesting autographs TTM. I'm familiar with the concept of obtaining autos through baseball players during ST simply bc they sign more......but my question is.........being a HUGE Atlanta Braves and Miami DOlphins fan.......has anyone had any successes TTM? Even IP.....

Care to share?

Who did you write? Where did you write them? How long did it take? Where did you meet this athlete?

I know there's some Braves and Dolphins fans in here......for those who are........probably 1 of the 2. tongue.gif

If there's been a related post already regarding this topic........forgive me......I'm blind.

I haven't had any personal successes because I haven't tried, but I know that Chipper Jones is an AMAZING IP signer.

Here are the basics

1. If you want to send to a current player you should send it c/o the team's stadium. You can find most of the address on tcc.
2. The shortest wait is usually a week but can take up to several years to get a request back
3. When writing a letter be sure to say please and thank you.
4. ALWAYS send a Sase (self addressed stamped envelope)

If you have anymore questions lmk!

I'm familiar with this.........

BTW........thanks Corky!!!!!

Matt.........I'm hoping to go back to Winterfest and get a jersey autographed by him.......I had him sign a baseball last time I went.

I am interested simply in recent successes considering EVERYBODY doesn't sign.....

I recently sent out an SI...via the Stadium address......to Francoeur.

I"ll keep everybody posted!
