Barack Obama was in town Friday:

Barack Obama 4/7 Total... (Gave stuff to a PR guy as instructed, however he returned all of the magazines as well as a few books unsigned, which was stupid) Got him to sign an omlb with my pen after the event which worked out. Told everyone he knows whenever he signs a baseball it is going on Ebay.

Did the Yankees Friday and Saturday.

Only successes, and one interesting failure. Got denied by everyone else pretty much...
Friday April 20th:

Robinson Cano 1/1 sp omlb
Don Mattingly 1/1 ss omlb (On his birthday)
Alex Rodriguez 0/1... Got him 1-1 and asked him, and he looked at me then said something in Spanish and kept walking....

On my birthday.. easily the best birthday present I have ever gotten.....

Saturday April 21st:
Derek Jeter 1/1 Authentic Jersey signed on the top of the 2. Guy is so nice in Boston, especially with all the crap Sox fans give him.... (The mark on the 2 is from the scan, jersey is in perfect condition!)

Scan does not do this piece justice. My camera is broken, so I cannot get a better picture of this, or of any of the baseballs.

Total autographs: 7 (Jeter on my authentic jersey was my main goal this weekend, and it happened, so I am pretty happy)

Next up:
B-Mets vs. Fishercats on Tuesday, and Rudy Giuliani on Tuesday.

A friend of mine used to play organized ball with him when they were kids. The parents sat together and from what I hear, they were/are great people too. It's pretty refreshing considering the attitude many players have.
