Man last year after GS got Baron Davis in a trade with New Orleans I thought it was going to be the breakout year for them. At 1st, in the beginning of the year, both the Clippers and the Warriors were the surpise team in the Western Conference, but now the Warriors are losing at a alarming rate. What's happening?
I still think the moves by Chris Mullins have really solidified the CORE of the team for the future - Dunleavy, Murphy, Foyle, Richardson and Davis, but they're just not clicking right now.
At times, Diogu, Biedrins and Taft (really early) showed signs of breaking thru, but now the rotation is totally confusing.
Areas that seem to be killing the Warriors the most is the lack of rebounding, unlimited 3pt shooting and Team free throwing.
At times Davis takes control of the game at the end and has won some, but now it seems to be getting the better of him.
No interior beef on the team to get rebounds - Foyle's ok but can't play offense and Murphy's more of an outside shooter which makes Richardson your best rebounder.
3 pointers are my favorite, but at the rate Davis, Richardson, Fisher and the rest of the team are shooing them -- there gonna kill themselves because the team percentage is dropping month after month.
Free throwing, supposedly a free point(s), is a science to the Warriors - can we make a free throw outside of Fisher?
For a team with so much hope at the beginning of the year is turning out to be ALL HYPE. Man, Montgomery gotta get this team playing better or else he might be out of a job!

Well with any team they doesnt have a solid starting 5 the season always drags the star players down as they think they have to carry the team.
They need help off the bench. This way guys like davis isnt shooting him to death trying to keep them in games.

well, they just won yesterday over minnesota.
im sure its just a slump. we still have half a season to play and the warriors still can make that 7th or 8th spot if they rack up some wins during the later part of the second half.
you wouldnt know in this business though. injuries, trades, suspensions and other factors could still determine GS's season.
it's up to the warriors if they want greatness or wanna stay stuck on cellar-dwelling.
good nucleus that they have though.
they'll be up and winning before we know it. lol.

I not counting on it - but they need to beat the teams over .500 and get on a roll. They're great against below .500 teams but the record against +.500 team is horrible. Their current record against Western conference +.500 teams is 1-13.

Hear about the rumor that Nellie contacted the Warriors telling them that if they want to make a change, he would be willing to coach them again and guaranteed he would get them in the playoffs???
