I saw this autographed ball by Xavier Henry (G/F for Kansas Jayhawks basketball) and had to give it a try. But I'm nervous because it does not have a COA and fear buying an auto w/out a COA. Yes, I understand that just because an auto has a COA it doesn't mean it's guaranteed to be real.

But, the guy does say it was signed Nov. 3 after KU's first exhibition game and he guarantees that if it doesn't pass COA inspection you'll receive your money back. He seems to be pretty confident in his item.

Here is the item:

A few of his other autos that do have COAs:

Well the auto seems to be real to me. I would go for it since the seller is saying if it doesn't pass by COA, then you get your money back.

DON'T GO FOR IT!!!

Under Returns is says No Returns Accepted

So even though he says in the item description you would get your money back, he has that tiny clause saying no returns accepted.

heres 1 thing to keep in mind when buying like this. a certification is going to be like 20-50 bucks!! so if you pay 10 bucks for something and its fake are you going to pay that the certify it to get your 10 bucks back?

when buying anything just do some research on it, look very close at the autos. if the look like they paused when they signed it 95% of the time its fake!!! because if you know how to write you sig, why would you need to pause when signing it unsure.gif this is one of the biggest giveaways in a fake sig!

Oh guys I didn't see that. Thanks for the info. Yeah forget my first intention don't go for it.

I asked the seller about that and he said he would give me double back if it does not pass because he got the auto in person. I think he had a no return policy on all of his items but said in the description that he will give the buyer their money back if it is indeed fake because he got it in person and seems to be pretty confident in his listing. So... unsure.gif

I would say it is good. He has all the other KU players as well and that would seem to match his story. Go for it.

Just be prepared for a beatdown on 1/10/10.

Well this is something that I'll probably never get rid of, I don't plan to sell this. I don't think it would be worth the money to get it certified just to guarantee it's real when I'm more than confident it is.
