Wait. Could Topps still produce bubblegum as they were originally doing?

They (NFLPA) just don't get it do they? Maybe they'd like to alienate the fans some more? Let's hope Topps dumps all their remaining Gameused/autos into the last products...Go out with a BANG! Not a wimper!

Because if they make bubblegum, then who is to stop them from using cardboard depicting sports stars on them to keep the packs stiff?

OH NO! Topps was never my favorite, but Topps has always had some great products(Co-Signers, Bowman, etc.)
How long until we only have one company for each sport?

They lost the NFLPA License, not the NFL. Their is a difference. They can still use logos, just not the players. That does mean that they can still produce a set with legends and retired players and use team logos.

Chrome technology is awesome, they seem to always hit that well with design and all. Won't miss their high end offerings, or sticker autographs. The one on card popular on card autograph they offer (Rookie Premiere) are some of the most faked cards ever.

that sucks for the rookie premiere autos because for next year I heard topps was going to serial number the cards to stop the fakes..

oooh...someone brought up the Bowman will be gone...to me that is a HUGE plus. In my opinion, Bowman RUINED baseball collecting with their 700 card product of 600 "prospects"...it eventually caused MLB to have to step in and define a RC...It absolutely destroyed the chance to pull a nice "RC" out of UD, Donruss or even Topps because Heaven forbid..BOwman made a card of him directly out of high school...
oops...this would be much more applicable if we were discussing MLB

dude there was no "prospects" in bowman chrome fb...
