OK, so the title's a little bit deceiving. I'll explain.... smile.gif

I picked up this card off Ebay for next to nothing. It's a 1927 W-560 card of W. Clark.

The player is Watty Clark. I'll admit I bought the card because of the name pictured, but a little digging brought up some interesting info.

First off, he's not related to THE Will Clark. But... his real first name IS indeed also William. And it doesn't end there... Both players were from Louisiana, were both southpaws, and they both played for the Giants (Watty in NY). That's about all the similarities I could find, but that's still an interesting amount!

I've gotta tell you, researching this player was a lot of fun. This is what makes collecting so fun and worthwhile. smile.gif
