The Smaller cards that I called "Goudey Tribute" are actually a tribute to the "National Chicle" cards from 1935.

I found the checklist for these inserts 2009 National Chicle Cards (Philadelphia Football Inserts) thanks to a link on the Cardboard Junkie Card Blog. I follow that blog from time to time and found his pull with a link while trying to search for a checklist.

So the basic checklist broken down by Cardboard Junkie is:

Isn't there supposed to be a guaranteed game used in each of these boxes? If not the UD wrapping I'm sure it was resealed....

I'd take it back to the store with the fake wrapping and demand a refund...that's what I did when I got a re-sealed Topps Baseball box this year....also, check if there are any other "re-wrapped" boxes and take those to customer service as well.....they shouldn't have them on the shelves.

Yeah they are supposed to have a GU in the packs, but it ISN'T Guaranteed. also on one side the box says:

So technically NO GUARANTEE.

I thought about taking it back, but I'm not THAT INTO GUs. The packs themselves didn't seem to be rewrapped jobs, just the box. I've worked retail and know that just because something was re-shrink-wrapped doesn't necessarily mean something is missing. Now if it was a Guaranteed AUTO, not just a GU on average in every box, not on average then I would probably take it back and complain.

As a consolation I just went online and entered for a bunch of NPN from Upper Deck products. I'll be surprised when/if they arrive. I haven't written anything down as to which ones, so when they come I'll be doubly surprised.
