Ok so i'm a big fan of michael robinson. He is currently on the 49ers as a RB and as far as i knew he was the main backup to Frank Gore. Well when gore went down for thoes 3 weeks robinson never got a carry. He has 3 on teh year fro 12 yards. I was pretty sure he was a captain.
So is he a ST captain seeing he has 7 or 8 tackles. Just wondering why i always here they wana use him more than he never seems to play.

because coffeee is much better...sorry to be so frank. Robinsion could barely get anything going last year when they gave him the chance. Gore on the other hand is so friggin good. power, speed, HEART, and oh yeah VISION

In the past years Michael Robinson has not looked very good running the ball, but this last pre season he looked much improved running the ball, but they drafted Coffee to help their runnning game. Robinson is still learning the position since he played QB in college, but he is a beast on special teams. That is where he really excels and is why he is still on the team. I don't see him getting a whole lot of carries in the near future, because at this point coffee and Gore are both better than him.
