Hello Fellow TCC'ers,

I have a question. I recently busted a box of 09 Topps Triple Threads. I pulled an Albert Pujols 1/1 Triple patch and the card was in horrible shape. I was so happy about pulling a true 1/1 of Pujols and then I realized how bad of shape it was in. The top of the card is coming off on all four corners. Come to find out, I have seem this problem more and more with the Patch cards in this product. My question is; what is the best way to go about getting this card replaced? Do I call Topps? Should I send them a letter with the card and hope I get a replacement?

I also need to to the same thing with Panini as I busted a box of 06 national treasures and pulled an AJ hawk rookie patch auto that was severly damaged as well.

Any help that anyone could provide would be much appreciated!

Thanks again!

Andy

For Topps I would call on that card before sending it back. Considering it is a 1/1 I am not sure what they would be able to do, you might be better off keeping that card. Only a call will provide the answer.

With Panini you can email them or go to the Donruss website and fill out a complaint form to mail the card in. Not sure if they would honor a request on a 2006 card though.

In either case your replacement might not be the same as the card you sent in and that is the risk you take.
