I will post the "proposed product list" below but it will certainly be up for debate as this is just a starting point so let me know your opinions. In fact I'm not that hot on this list as I think it includes too many mid-range boxes that I'd be busting "old school" rather than video so if you would prefer a different selection please chime in!

I will note your interest but because it got too complex to try to maintain a waiting list for specific teams in the different groups I have discontinued the waitlist for specific teams. basically if they open up I will email everyone who has expressed interest in them and first come first serve. If before I get a chance to email people someone else claims them on the thread then they get the team. Not the most popular method but one I felt necessary to do. As far as product list.

I personally don't care for Topps Chrome either, but to try it out for the new year is fine.

To be selfish, I would love to see 08 Exquisite or NT. I would love to get Felix Jones auto RC from these sets. But, any set that has a chance for an Emmitt Smith auto is just fine. The one I'm really after. Do we still need to wait for these prices to go down?

One of the things I most like about this Group Break is the fact that we break low, mid & hi end products. I like splitting the money between products, & getting a good variety. Even if I don't get a "mega hit", I'll at least get something.

I don't want this break to migrate towards more premium material. One high end box per month, whether NT or Exquisite, is sufficient in my opinion. (That one box eats up almost 40% of our budget each month as it is) For those who love this kind of product, Chris has established both the Hi End breaks as well as the periodic "Big Break".

By keeping the variety, hopefully every member of the break can be pleased with the product, as least every couple of months!

Murray very well said I am just preferring a more recent year whether it be 2007 or 2008 than 2006 of the high end

I also prefer to do 3 years at a time as well is another reason I want to give 2006 the boot

Don't get me wrong. I do agree. I like the variety of products.

I wasn't implying to replace Chrome with another high end product.
I was just stating my preference with 08, other than 06 with high end.
Also, was asking if we needed to wait until 08 prices are lower to start including the NT, Exquisite, Etc.

I would agree that I would like to include 08 or even 09 products to be the one for a high end box but 06NT at $335 versus $450-$490 for 08 NT or Exquisite swayed me. I don't think we necessarily need to wait to include 08NT or Exquisite but merely keep an eye out for when they go on sale, etc..

That was what I figured. Not being able to buy those high end boxes, I didn't know the difference in price. I figured it would be best to wait for the prices to go lower. We don't want to use most of the budget on 1 box.

I have no problems with the product line-up, and as always look forward to the break.
