Time to get our September Multi-Sport Group break thread going! The focus will continue to be mid-high to high end products but the actual products broken will be decided by the group. The only prerequisite will be that it must be a box containing no more than 10 packs so this can be an all-Youtube break and we can more easily focus on higher end stuff.

We have formated this much like the old group where you join the group by selecting any available team (from any of the 4 sports - Football, Baseball, Basketball, or Hockey). Once we have filled up all 40 of our slots and collected the $75 slot fee we'll hold a draft (randomized order) where you can select another team (in any sport) and then use a reverse order 2nd round where you draft your 3rd team. You must hold a team from at least two different sports by the end of the draft. We will however allow trading following the draft so if you want you can end up with all 3 teams in the same sport via trade.

As usual you get every card pulled from all the boxes broken and we will do the best we can to split the budget evenly between the 4 sports. Because this will be an on-going monthly group you will have the right to retain ONE team from one month to the next but the other two teams will be drafted teams each month. If you have interest in joining us you can select any unclaimed team to start with...just let me know. Once we fill 40 slots we will continue to take names for the waitlist as well.

Sorry to hear that but you'll always be welcome back should you feel the urge. That opens up the Raiders and Devils as options for anyone else to join us (along with any other available team).

Feels like it because it's true! We have had Prime Cuts each of the first few months and I've kept it in as it is one of the products that gives us a good mix of rookies and historical vets and allows for at least the opportunity for a huge hit. That being said...most of this is just a proposal so if others would chime in as well I'm open to tweaks to the list.

I am going to give up all my teams... good stuff available now to all... GL everyone!!!

Got it. Boy I'm tempted to pick up at least one of these Hockey teams with Canadiens, Capitals, and Blackhawks all available! I'll wait and see what goes in the next day or two and then take one of them if they're still there.

I'm dropping the Brewers...I will keep the Orioles and the Packers. I'll send payment now because I am going out of town until the 19th and don't know if I will have web access until then.

there goes two teams i was hoping for in the draft...and two teams i would've liked to have a crack at taking...lousy quality family time keeping me away from the pc...lol

obviously i'm not going to complain about prime cuts. i would like to see either topps or bowman sterling in addition to the cuts (not necessarily this month but at some point). as chris pointed out at one time or another there is no real high end product for baseball like there is for the other sports (exq., the cup). the good thing about products like cuts, the cup, nt, is that they bring the hall of famers into it instead of focusing just on rookies which helps to make some of the weaker teams more desirable.

The Cubs have been dropped so they are available if anyone wants to pick them up. We now have 3 open slots so if we stay as is we will need to look at dropping a box from the product list. Obviously I'll want to decide on that prior to our draft which will need to start probably by Monday so if there's anyone thinking about joining us please speak up as we break next weekend!
