Dodgers really got a lot for a waiver trade in this deal. Looks like the'yre set for the long run this postseason. Thome is up there in age but can still get it done. what do you think?

Geez... I HATE the Dodgers, but Jim Thome is one of my favorite active players.... I am totally bummed...

Just depends on the Dodgers pitching. They haven't sealed up a playoff spot yet, the Rockies are right behind them and the Wild Card race is very tight.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! It's will be interesting to see how Torre will use him in LA and watching him play alongside Manny again.
Now; I guess, I'll have to change my favorite team.....................

I would think you would dislike the Dodgers considering Thome will riding the pine most of the time.... what a waste...

NO..........It will allow him to get over his recent injuries and I still believe Torre will use him.

Loney is much better than Thome. Thome will be a nice power bat off the bench and a veteran leader.
