Interesting read, but will customers buy college players in undistinquished uniforms? That is more the real question.

No logos means no logos..

UD's baseball will never have a rookie designation according to MLB licensing rules who established the rookie logo found on many cards. UD had that taken away from them.

BTW.. Lawsuits will rule the day from 2010 on in my opinion!

I know I wouldn't.... and Steve, I think you called it correctly, we will be reading about a bunch of lawsuits next year... it is a sad situation...

Sometimes I wonder...throughout all the bickering these companies do and all these exclusive contracts that seem to be the new thing, do they EVER think at all about us?

not I! i want my ramses barden cards with him in a GREEN AND GOLD Cal Poly Jersey. I want a patch with the head of the mustang on it. not some lame all white jersey that could be anything.

which brings up a question. exlcusive on logos? so then game used patches/jersey are gone... so now i get authentic worn walmart plain white jersey that was worn for 2 min at a photo shoot? also, woluld this include the patch work from the reebok/nike/whatever patches found on the jersey?

I think Donruss got away with patches in 2008/9 Donruss Threads which was not licensed.
