As you can see, a Topps Jumbo has the potential to be loaded, especially with the Logomen and Tags. If you download the PDF sell sheet you'll see exactly what cards have on-card autographs, what cards have sticker autographs and what jerseys the GU cards come from.
How my breaks work:
- 30 spots, one NBA team per spot
- Maximum spots that can be purchased by one person is 5
- I use random.org to select teams
- I post a screenshot of the random.org list
- I do a live break, here on TCC*
- I scan the hits, post images here on TCC
- Confirm addresses and ship out cards
- I ship in brand new bubble mailers with delivery confirmation
- PayPal only to confirmed addresses in the United States (international TCCers will have to pay a tad more for shipping)
Now, I put an asterisk by the live break portion because, well, there are 3,000 cards. Listing every base card would be a chore, so I would list the hits only (rookies, Chrome and parallels, GUs and autographs).
Also, participants can also let me keep the base cards they don't want. I will gather them and donate them to a local children's club.
A case is $585 delivered. With PayPal fees and shipping supplies, cost, plus delivery confirmation, I'm looking at $26 per spot. We're dealing with lots of cards, so shipping will cost more than the average break.
I think it would be loads of fun. Looking at the product info, the case would yield at least 60 numbered cards, at least 6 auto or autograph relic cards, and at least 18 game-used cards. Not to mention any refractors and Topps parallel cards.
So, what do you think? If this generates enough interest, I'll run it. This is the last Topps basketball product to come out for a while, since Panini took over. Just let me know!
