So I was browsing Sportsbuy auctions (formerly known as Naxcom)..Anyway I picked up a Channing Frye AU. The card didn't have a picture, but I only bid $1($3.50 total with shipping) so I thought what the heck...Anyway I received the card today and I was pleasantly surprised!! It had been mislabeled and since it didn't have a picture no one knew......Anyway I got the Rare SP Authentic Patch Auto RC of Channing Frye. BOOK=$150!!! Not bad for $1 bid. (The patch has 3 colors)----Went back and the seller has reserves on all his auctions now. Kinda surprised he actually sold it for that price!!

OK Stud, how many 3 color patch RC Autos, with a BV of $100+ of current NBA players have you bought for $1 recently.... No he's not a superstar, but he's been in the league 4 years, it's a rare RC, and I'm sure I'd get more than a $1 on ebay right now for it.

Nice card for sure, and yeah, a steal; but it's Frye I've seen a couple of those sell between $10 and $16.

And those cards aren't game-used, are they? Since they're rookies, I think they're event-used. Maybe you can confirm it.

I just checked and the back of the card says the Jersey was from the Rookie Photo Shoot.....Yeah Fry's not huge, but $10-16 is a lot more than $1

....It is a really cool looking card, haven't decided what I'm going to do with it yet.

Thanks for those that thought it was a steal...I decided to sell it on e-bay and got 35.99 for it. Not bad for a $1 bid on another site. So I'd say the debate over whether it was a steal or not is a resounding STEAL!! Had trouble making a link, but you can see it under completed transactions...
