Would rather see an 08 NT or 08 Exquisite than 06 Exquisite

Love everything else though.

I am keeping my six teams for now, but will let you know if that changes between now and Friday.

Maybe consider 09 Elite instead of 09 Classics? There have been a lot of Classics breaks on here lately, and Elite seems to pack a better punch IMO in terms of design and patches. Also not too keen on 07 Finest...maybe 07 LRAS or Sweet Spot?

Personal preference would be to leave the Exquisite for the high end box break.

Spending 1/3 of the break money on one pack of six cards doesn't seem like a good value to me, especially since the last few CASES have been pretty disappointing.

You can not keep judging based on one bad showing, lets look at the previous cases including Gottabes Big Ben.

If Exquisite goes I think NT should be dropped too as thats high end as well.

I think a lot of us that have done this for a while said a while ago that 1-2 High End Products makes it more fun and a better creak. I would not want to lose those higher end products they have brought us some of our best hits by far..one thing to consider is just getting a Case of one product I have been thinking this could work and people would probably get more hits that way

Gottabe's Big Ben was the exception, not the rule, & was one box out of a couple of cases.

In Chris's 4 separate breaks last month, Exquisite was disappointing. Have a look at other Big Breaks on Youtube, & you'll see similar results.

Exquisite is primarily driven by the one or 2 hot rookies in the product from that year. Heck, people still get excited when they pull a Reggie Bush auto from 2006!!

However, that's just my opinion.

Why don't we let all the members decide between Exquisite & NT (if that's the choice?) If the majority wants Exquisite, so be it.

I'm still in, no matter what. I'd just like to see a good value.

Have seen Exquisite deliver a better value than NT 49 times out of every 50.

Have watched, joined, and busted enough of both to know which one delivers a better product.

I'll second this. I'd much rather see a box of Elite instead of Classics.

How do you explain the Big Break II? I think 8 boxes of NT were drafted before the first Exq was picked, and only 2 of the first 15 boxes drafted were Exq. NT is better top to bottom...better patches, better legends, better designs.

I do like the idea of doubling the 07 Limited, no surprise there!

There are exceptions and the big break was one of those.

Exquisite delivers a better value on individual cards and is more sought after (except for the cuts)

Exquisite only has in my opinion 1 thing that sets it apart and thats on card autos otherwize its no better than products half the price.

Once again the battle between Exquisite and NT rages on. I think this is one of those disagreements that will never be solved and no matter what the product list holds there will be people that would rather see it a different way. That's only natural when you put 25 collectors together like this. My recommended solution would be to either have both NT (if it's available) and/or Exquisite in every break. Perhaps on a 3 month rotation... this month we do both, next month we just have NT as our "ultra-high end representative", and the following month just have Exquisite as our ultra high end box. That way 2 out of 3 months the fans of Exquisite will have a box to look forward to just as 2 out of 3 months the fans of NT will have a box to look forward to. Also just one month out of 3 will we be taking a good portion of our funds for the high end stuff (when we have a box of each NT and Exq). Even this month when we have both NT and Exquisite represented we still have another 8 boxes on the list so it's not like that will take up all our funds.

As for the 09 products, I'd like to be sprinkling in different products as they release so we can at least see the stuff so how about if I change that to be one box Classics and one box Elite since they cost the same?

As for the NT vs. Exquisite discussion: I myself would probably take NT over Exquisite any time, but for a group break I'm fine with either product being in there. So far I have only opened NT myself, so I'm a little biased here. Having a NT / Exquisite rotation suits me as a team collector, but I'm not opposed to having both products in each months break.

I really don't have an opinion on the Exquisite/NT debate. As I have never opened a box myself. Although, a reason why I wanted to join this group, was to have a chance to get a card from a box I could never afford to buy. So, I would not want them to be dropped.

I am also fine with the rotation solution.

Both of the BIG BREAKS were over shadowed by National Treasures-there are (single card) exceptions but top to bottom NT has out performed Exquisite in those two breaks.

I think Chris does an excellent job of setting up the line-up for these breaks and he absolutely hit it on the head that with 20-30 different breakers per break everyone isn't going to be satisfied. There will always be great debate of Treasures vs Exquisite. There is a high-end break elsewhere for those interested but saying that, I know how hard it is to get into it as I was finally able to get a team in it starting with July. Sprinkling in a high-end box here and there within this break in my opinion adds a little punch to it and personally I like it. Chris has mentioned he will rotate different (high-end) thru the months. I am just so glad to have someone like Chris to take the time to put on the many classy breaks as he does to all of our benefit.

Finally, I am in with the BUFFALO BILLS again but are there any unclaimed teams for this break? as I have some interest in possibly picking up another team.

I think there has to be a high end product like I have said I do not care which one it is but the best bang for the buck for sure!
Chris-Are you opposed to the idea of a FOTTBALL CASE BREAK instead? that way everyone has a better shot?

To be honest I would tend to shy away from a case break as part of this monthly group. I (as well as many others out there) do occassional case breaks but with the monthly group where you are locked into your teams already, I think if we do a case it will obviously lock us in to one particular year for most if not all of our budget which isn't quite fair to alot of teams that don't have a good rookie crop for the year we choose. I have been looking at some cases as I haven't done one in a while but I just don't think it fits with this group where we have been offering a range of products spread out over 3 or 4 years. Hope that makes sense.

Hello again all. I regret to say that I have to make a policy change that may not be uber-popular. I am discontinuing all waitlists for claimed teams in all my group breaks. Rather than going into all the reasons why I will just say that it has created more issues for me than it's worth to try to maintain it so with that, it will now be a first come first serve policy with any teams that come open. I'm sorry to have to do this but I will try to keep the lists as current as possible so you know what teams may be coming open. Hope you understand!
