Time to get our July Multi-Sport Group break thread going! The focus will continue to be mid-high to high end products but the actual products broken will be decided by the group. The only prerequisite will be that it must be a box containing no more than 10 packs so this can be an all-Youtube break and we can more easily focus on higher end stuff.

We have formated this much like the old group where you join the group by selecting any available team (from any of the 4 sports - Football, Baseball, Basketball, and Hockey). Once we have filled up all 40 of our slots and collected the $75 slot fee we'll hold a draft (randomized order) where you can select another team (in any sport) and then use a reverse order 2nd round where you draft your 3rd team. You must hold a team from at least two different sports by the end of the draft. We will however allow trading following the draft so if you want you can end up with all 3 teams in the same sport.

As usual you get every card pulled from all the boxes broken and we will do the best we can to split the budget evenly between the 4 sports. Because this will be an on-going monthly group you will have the right to retain ONE team from one month to the next but the other two teams will be drafted teams each month. If you have interest in joining us you can select any unclaimed team to start with...just let me know. Once we fill 40 slots we will continue to take names for the waitlist as well.

I'm very glad to see this revised product list.

I was seriously considering dropping out of this group because of how much of the break $ was consumed by Exquisite, resulting in few hits (I believe at least 6 spots were totally shut out last month).

The new list, while still being faithful to the original premise of "mid to high end products" should help to share the wealth a bit.

i like the new list, chris. it gives me a funny feeling.....like climbing the rope in gym class.

Thanks for payment. You can submit interest for a currently claimed team but in the interest of keeping track of those things I'll limit it to one person waitlist per team.

If you'd like to be in line for the Red Sox I suggest you check the obituaries daily. The only I'd give them up is if I'm 6 feet deep.

Just a quick note to say I will no longer be maintaining waitlists for currently claimed teams. This is a general policy I am having to take for all my group breaks so while it may not be a popular decision I apologize that I need to go that route and any claimed teams that get dropped and are available will be announced in the thread but will be first come first serve. For this particular group however I will allow someone to waitlist for an opening in the 40 slot break but not for any particular team...just to get in to the break with any team that is available at the time the opening occurs. Hope that makes sense!

Your waitlist thoughts are perfectly clear to me Chris. I was just wondering since payment is due on Sunday are we going to start the draft that day too??? I am going to the MLB all star events so I need to know when to be by the computer!!!
