Full Version: Price Check Anyone?

I'd like to see subcategories added into price checks, dividing them by sport. Not everyone is able to get price checks on all sports, and quite a few people fail to specify what sport they're looking for in the subject, or sometimes in the post at all.

Thats a good idea.. but wouldnt you be able to tell what sport by who the player was?

Sure, if I open the post and have actually heard of the player. I just think it would make things a lot easier if it were separated.

Just wondering if there had been any discussion between the "powers that be" on this?

I haven't seen any. In my opinion (since is posted in price check area to be specific on card and all), that the folks wanting a price check should put the sport in their title, or least in their post. Seems so many don't give you near enough info, and for an obscure player it is rather difficult to look up w/o a card number wink.gif. I would imagine that won't happen soon if it ever did, as it took many months to get seperate section in Marketplace for each sport for Group Breaks, so they weren't jumbled with regular marketplace topics wink.gif.

I agree Dwight, that it would be nice if people would give more details, but I guess we deal with what we can get. Thanks for the reply.

Way I look at it: If they don't have the courtesy to make it a simple favor for them, they become a lower priority wink.gif laugh.gif as asking about value of a card there is really no such thing as too much information (especially on some of the oddball stuff, sometimes a scan can make a difference), this also applies to "anyone know what card this is" topics in Ask the Experts.
