Delivery Confirmation is a great tool to prevent the need of MSF for new memebers.
I like:
1- How members usually are given plenty of chances before they are banned.
2- New members aren't segregated by dumb rules for new members. That's a reason I wasn't big on other sites...it's frustrating having a MSF tag for just being new. I understand the need, but there are other measures to prevent things like this like DC and such.
3- The fact that people aren't judged for collecting crappy players. Like Kamerion Wimbley...

1. The community - tons of great members who are caring, generous, and kind PEOPLE.
2. The Team Members - we might not always agree with their decisions, but overall they are just like every other member. They get involved and don't try to abuse what power they have.
3. The transaction system - allows for each member to comment on the trade without simply giving "positive" or "negative" feedback. Trades are completely open for all to see, and the format allows for easy intervention for the Collector Zone Team if problems occur.

1. It's open - 1 example - you can talk about other sites without being kicked off, in this Hobby we need all the references we can get, if that's giving credit elsewhere when credit is due it's O.K. here.
2. Well policed - (moderated)
3. The diversity of all the members & admin who make the place what it is

- No MSF rule is great - we were ALL new once. I like that it is left up to each individual trader here.

Apr 28 2009, 03:08 PM
I agree that it's hard to do just 3.
Treating new members as if they had been here forever. I really haven't gotten involved in any other site jsut due to this issue. I don't trade very often (although I should), but I wouldn't want to spend a long time on a restriction just because I'm new.
I love the community feel to TCC. There are members here willing to help and sometimes go beyond what they need to do to help out their fellow collector.
The amount of information and knowledge that is contained within these forums is awesome. Ask a question and someone seems to know the answer or where to find it quickly.

1. The members! - This is one of, if not THE most, friendly places I've ever encountered.
2. The trading format - It was mentioned before, but the feedback system here is nice and easy, very user-friendly, and very open.
3. The ease of use... I remember when the "fast reply" was first introduced... I don't think I've ever been happier!

1- The fact that all of the team Members volunteer.
None of them are paid to do what they do, which means they are doing it because they love it, an important part of any leader.
2-Someone with 0 posts is treated the same way as someone with 10000 posts.
friendly, and welcoming just like all should be treated.
3- Everyone is so welcoming
On what other site would you have 10 posts welcoming someone to the forum in EVERY introduction topic?

I'm saying bans and suspensions are given out too easily and when someone pays 40 dollars to another member for cards he never receives and it is treated so lightly.

2- are you saying a restriction is not good enough?

You're free to believe what you want. However, I have a feeling that the Collector Zone team actually leverages the suspension and ban tools rather infrequently compared to many forums. In fact, others have complained that we don't use those tools enough.
With regards to your pending transaction, let's please deal with that issue in your transaction as opposed to letting it "spill over" into other topics - especially a topic that is intended to focus on positive, refreshing things. However, you did fail to mention that your transaction partner has been restricted to
Current Transactions Only. If you want to know why that member hasn't been banned yet,
Thanks,
-Bob
P.S. You seem to have the details related to your pending transaction a little incorrect.

The generosity of the TCC members ... I have never seen a site that the members send other members as much free stuff as this site
The willingness of the TCC members to help out ... if you have a question about something, don't be afraid to ask it cause someone will know the answer
The ease of use of the site including how everyone makes you feel welcomed here ... I have never met anyone on here (with the exception of 2 members who live in my small town that I actually told them about this site) but I feel like I know quite a few people from just the pm's, trades and the posts that are made.
As the great Ric Flair would say:
"Wether you hate it or you like it, learn to love it cause it's the best thing going...WOOOO" ... TCC is simply the best

#1. This is a total no-brainer for me. The best thing about TCC is it's members. I'm a member of several forums and the overall attitude of the guys and gals on TCC is completely different. I've never seen a group of people who were all so kind and generous.
#2. I guess this could also have been included in #1, but these people deserve their own spot in my list. The CZT members! What a great group of people right? I've yet to find one of these guys/gals who doesn't want to help someone else out with whatever they can!
#3. The group breaks. These breaks were one of the first things I read about when I first joined TCC, and I remember thinking "this is something I'm definitely going to get involved with". I believe within my first week of joining this site I had already joined my first group break, and I loved every minute of it. Just another way for me to meet and mingle with some great people, and grab a few cards while I'm at it.
TCC is one of my favorite places to visit on the web, and easily the one I spend the most time on. There are plenty of other things that are great about this site, but those are my top 3. Everyone continue doing what you're doing and I'm sure it will only continue to get bigger and better.

Just 3? EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHH
OK I'll try even though people like Indy, Dwight and at least half the people who have responded in this thread have already said some of mine (even better than I could have).
1) The People. Almost everybody here treats everyone else kindly. As a few have already mentioned it is like family. If someone screws up they give them at least one chance to try and correct things. Also there are very few people with attitudes. Most are easy to get along with.
2) The Easy to use transactions section. Many other card forums I've used I have screwed up my first transaction and takes several days for their mods to get things fixed, or to see if the transaction is going right.
3) The site itself. TCC has always been very easy to navigate. Sections like My Blog, The Contests & Giveaways, My Assistant and My Trading/Marketplace Topics areas are big pluses.

1) The Forums - every possible hobby-related subject is covered, and the layout is well-structured. One stop source for hobby information.
2) The Community - Forums are useless if people aren't active, and the TCC community is very active in posting/reading/replying! Also very supportive and positive in helping other collectors. I've seen very very little "trolling" here that's rampant in many other online forums.
3) Transactions - I don't have as much activity as a lot of people but every single transaction I've had to date has been incredibly easy and pain-free.
