The draft is next week...don't forget it's a THREE HOUR RAW!!!!
For those that dislike Vicky Guerrero...does her becoming RAW's permanent GM make you happy or sad? Or goes she get sent packing back to SM on draft night?
Here's my guesses:
I can see HHH, MVP, Big Show, Edge, Miz/Morrison going back to RAW and maybe R Turth.
CM Punk, Borne, Layla, Mysterio, JBL and Jericho going to SD.
Ziggler, Haas (endangered list), Sim Snuka (endangered list), Helms, Kendrick and Jackson going to ECW
I would like to see Christian moved, but suspect Swagger would get moved before Christian goes anywhere.
Since Smackdown will no longer be viewed as a close "equal" because of the MyNetwork TV situation, Mysterio will be the highest ranking Star on the SD brand.
What's ypur thoughts

I see smackdown and raw merging into one brand..
That would be the best thing Vince could do!

It's hard to say. I see Triple H and Edge returning to RAW. I also see Miz and Morrison being split and several of the Divas switching brands as always. I can see Bourne, Mysterio, Hardys, Benjamin, and Kofi all being part of the same show to set up some nice matches. Many of the youngsters that are up and comers always seem to end up on ECW so they can get some experience working with a veteran. In 2007 it was supposed to be Chris Benoit. This past year that guy was Finlay. Who will it be in 2009? I can see guys like Ziggler and Swagger benefiting from this. Swagger has great potential if they can get rid of his lisp and Ziggler has some charisma and in ring ability just a stupid character. Maybe we will even see the 3 members of Legacy each end up on a different show. I can see Batista moving to Smackdown to join Cena and Taker to be the stars of the brand.

like to see Vicky Guerrero sent to ECW
Gotta figure JBL goes somewhere to announce (jbl back to Raw?) and expect 3 of the following to move Taker/ Edge/ Batista/ HHH/ Orton/ Punk or Rey--Orton to Smackdown HHH to Raw then losing belt to Orton setting up Orton/ Batista and HHH/ Cena Summerslam
I agree it's time to split Morrison and Miz but I can see Legacy together for a while.

WWE has announced that there will be 12 draft choices on the 3 hour RAW this Monday. There is also going to be the customary Supplemental Draft held on wwe.com on Wednesday I believe. That is usually the way they move mid card talents and divas to set up new matchups on each brand.

I like Legacy even though I'm not big on Orton. I'd like to see DiBiase get a push...maybe for the IC to see how he can get over. I'd like to see him as a face even though his old man was the consummate bad guy.

CM Punk to Smackdown. I do not watch Smackdown. The best pick in the draft. Now if they would only send Cena there...

Glad to see CM Punk go to SD. Not to happy about Mysterio going to SD. Finally RAW got rid of Chris Jericho.
And HELLO MARYSE.
Welcome to RAW.

Most of the moves were "obvious"...stregthen RAW while sending the none "homers" to SD.
At this point the IC title is the highest title ion SD, unless Puink wins one of the world titles and brings it to SD.
I'm disappointed in the Melina/Maryse switch, but that's to be expected since Melina is black haired and a minority.
I sense Matt Hardy may go back to SD or Jeff to come along to RAW in the supplemental draft. WWE will not accept their mistake until it's shoved down our throats another 3 months and both of them loose steam and then they'll be tagged as "can't draw" by Triple H at which point they'll be mid carders for life again!
ECW is SCREWED.
I, for one, disagree with breaking up Miz/Morrison. Not because they can't be good on their own (heck Morriosn was ECW champ), but that they are great as a tag team. It's sort of like Road Warriors and Team 3D ...you don't want to see them as singles. The problem in the WWE is that the are gun shy with newer talent and will pull the plug on them quickly (to kill their momentum as well as secure their own spots). Look at Punk, Mysterio, Morrison, Benjamin, Kingston, etc...it's always strong push and then aburptly end it. Unlike, Undertakers "Hell's Gate (MMA move) that NO ONE understood and bought, the WWE stuck with it for over a year and it finally paid off when HBK got caught in the move on WM. <<< This would never happen with newer talent.
For the guys that like Legacy (DiBiase and Rhodes), they are a glorified "Spirit Squad" for HHH pleasure. Even with DiBiase in an upcoming WWE movie, he's treated like a nobody when matched against HBK/HHH types.

OUCH. But there's probably an element of truth there.

It's probably to do with Mysterio apparently bringing Hispanic viewership to SD! but not making any real improvement to that area on RAW. Melina followed Rey for a ratings boost in a certain demographic. Expect them both to have tons of airtime over the next little while.
Pretty satisfied with the Draft overall since I called most of the moves. The way things are shaping up it looks like I'll only be watching RAW this year. Mark Henry to RAW in the supplemental draft would make sure of that.

I figured Triple H would be back on the "flagship show". It seems as though Kane and Mysterio get drafted every year. No big names usually move in the Supplemental Draft. This year you could see Hardy or Orton switched that way to show that it is also important. I expect to see the Brian Kendrick's and Charlie Haas' of the world get moved via that route.

I think WWE took a hit when they decided to divide the two shows.

Looks like some divas, tag teams, and mid carders were moved via the supplemental draft. The Bella Twins and Colon Brothers moved to RAW while Cryme Tyme went to Smackdown. Interesting to see Brian Kendrick and Ezekial Jackson split up. Chavo is coming to RAW, no doubt to be Vickie's designated wheel chair pusher. John Morrison will shine on Smackdown working against Punk, Jericho, Mysterio, Benjamin, and Jeff Hardy. He may benefit more than anyone as a result of the moves. I also think Dolph Ziggler, Ricky Ortiz, and Charlie Haas will benefit from their moves to Smackdown. Mr. Kennedy was drafted to RAW again. Man, injuries have killed his career. I hear that he is contemplating retirement. His shoulder cannot be repaired so he will always have to work with pain and the chance that it is damaged even worse. He is still set to return in a month or so, but it could be a short lived run. Sad because he had potential. I thought maybe William Regal would go to ECW this year as the designated veteran to work with younger talent but Finlay remained on that brand. Interesting that Hornswaggle was drafted though. I still think it could have been a cool storyline to have the 3 members of Legacy end up on different brands leaving them each open to attacks by Batista and Triple H. Oh well, at least we will get some new rosters and hopefully new rivalries over the next year or so.

Brain Kendrick will soon disappear from WWE TV...remember his tag partner Paul London?
The only moves I honest like is Natayla to ECW so she can be with Tyson Kid (not that she wasn't on ECW already) and Morrison who wil have great matches there as a top heel.
Hope DH Smith, the scapegoat in WWE's drug policy, gets some exposure on ECW as he is very talented.
Ugh, we have Know following Mysterio around.
My fear: Helms on suicide watch.

Realistically no, especially between Royal Rumble to Wrestlemania, but you can view these switches as "promotions or demotions".

Yeah I used to love to watch it back then, when I was younger. Haven't seen it since then. It's drawing no new fans now. The only people that still watch it are the people who watched it back then.
I tried to watch it the other week, and after 2 minutes, turned UFC back on.
