Since everything is captured on video nowadays, there are several cell phone videos of fans getting on Jericho's nerves and he gets upset with a small altercation afterwards. This happened after a show in British Columbia, Victoria in Canada. I can image how hard it is for wrestlers to keep their cool with fans.

No video links to TCC since it's a family friendly site...just search youtube.

This story is going to get a lot of media play. I have seen the video of the incident, and without a doubt the fans were the problem here. There was no excuse for them blocking the path of his car and touching it and kicking his door. Some may say that he shouldn't have gotten out of the car but I say what was he supposed to do? There is a mob surrounding you and you are supposed to sit there and wait for whatever it is they have planned? Not me. The fans were totally responsible for the incident in my opinion. I'm sure the media including Nancy Dis-Grace will paint it to be that Y2J attacked innocent fans in a fit of 'roid rage!

tHE REAL PROBLEM IS THE LACK OF SECURITY DOING THEIR JOBS!!

Chris did nothing wrong, other than defend himself from a nasty uprising! Security shouldve been holding back that lynch mob so Chris didnt have to do the shove/punch.. whatever it was he did.. as the video is pretty grainy!

Where the brandon-ator when you need him? laugh.gif

That boyfriend/girlfriend wouldve been eating asphalt if he had been there!

There was another Chris Jericho incident involving a fan last night at the Greenville, South Carolina ECW/Smackdown house show. Jericho, prior to his match with Ricky Steamboat, was doing heel mic work berating the crowd when a fan, literally, slipped into the entrance aisle, made his way to the ring and attempted to get into the ring.

As it was explained to me, the fan couldn't get through the ring ropes and was pulled away. He was handcuffed and taken backstage before being arrested. Several workers said that the fan, while cuffed, tried to call to them to ask for autographs, which is hilarious on many levels.

Jericho posted a note about the incident on his twitter, commenting, "A fan hit the ring during my promo before my match in Greenville...things did not turn out well for him."

Y2J sure has been the best heel in the business for a while now as evidence by these fans going over the edge. This stuff was commonplace in the 70s and 80s with guys getting their vehicles destroyed, getting stabbed, etc. by angry fans.

Chris Jericho has always been one of the best to heckle the fans.

I agree that Jericho is one of the best heels in the business, but I must say that I had the opportunity to meet him a year or so ago, and he is one of the nicest wrestlers that I have ever met!
