Allright, right now i keep hearing how the celtics and lakers will play each other again WAIT A SECOND... who has the 2nd best record in the nba? the lakers right? NOPPPEEE the cavaliers. And they also have the MVP of the league currently and probably the best player in the league right now in lebron james, do the celtics? no do the lakers? maybe with kobe but so far this is leborns year.


So why are we not talking about this cavs team, they may win this east even though the celtics are playing well the cavs are only like 2 games out of 1st. Its not a given the celtics and lakers will meet each other in the finals, Heck i don't know whether the lakers will make it to the finals, they don't play defense that wins championships.

cavs are playing great defense and they are blowing teams out so most of the starters are resting most of the 4th quarter so they will be fresher than the old Celtics.

also the cavs are playing every man on the roster just about every night

LeBron can have his MVP, the Celtics will take home the rings again. Until the Cavs get a better supporting cast, they will not win. One player simply can not beat the Celtics defense. Their rotations and rebounding are that good.

They get no publicity, lebron does but what the team is achieving.. they are just looking past for some reason, despite having a very good and we'll balanced team (Its not just lebron, plus i think they may get a good player in brad milller and trade away varejao.)

I have'nt seen too much of them this year, but im not convinced the y are a "team". if lebron gets hurt or has an off game they lose 9 times out of 10. cut out any 1 player from the celtics or even lakers, they win 8 or 9 times out of 10. not so much on the lakers since they arent playing too well currently, but they are not as reliant on kobe as the cavs are on bron bron.

One man cant take a team to the finals and win. He needs 4 other players to help him. Thats All i got to say about this.

He did ALMOST beat them at the top of his game, but the Celtics are even better this year. Cavs in 6? They couldnt beat the Celtics in 7 last year. If you remind me closer to the playoffs, i'll be happy to put some money where my mouth is :]

Even though the Cavaliers have the second best record in the NBA, they are still in the Eastern Conference. So, they need to take down the Celtics before getting to the Finals. I think that the Lakers can get to the Finals, but the Cavaliers just aren't as good as the Celtics.

And the Cav's aren't better than last year?

Mo Williams helps them, but they dont have the big man inside. a real presence.

Same group as last year. Z isnt getting any younger and Wallace has no offensive game. I just dont think they have enough, but only time will tell.
