Ok ok that sounds crazy right? Not really. I will tell you why now!
In the last 14 games he is averaging: 19ppg and is shooting a whopping %56 percent from the field.. Did i forget to mention he is getting 11 rebounds a game!!!
Not to mention he is almost averaging 2 steals a game (Pretty good for a big man)
But yes i know boozer is boozer and he is still better than paul millsap.. Maybe he is BUT here is a point i make out to you
The jazz need to trade boozer and get what they can, Because with a duo of d-will, brewer, okur, millsap and maybe kirilenko could make this team rock and roll.
We'll who would they trade for boozer? How about send him to miami for marion? the heat need a big guy, and he would fit the roll in miami. Marion would take over C.J. Miles starting spot.
But there is still one guy we are forgetting Kirilenko. Now whether you should trade him i don't know... I would lean towards NO just because he can play great defense on almost any player in the league outside of most centers. Can he lock down kobe? no, can he frustrate kobe and make him sometimes force shots - yes he can.
But lets say they do trade kirilenko, Who could they get back for him? I know who Raja Bell and Gerald Wallace (As you may know wallace is on the trade block and the bobcats don't want him and bell can give a great defensive effort.)
So what if this all happens? This is the jazz's roster:
Deron Williams
Ronnie Brewer
Mehemet Okur
Paul Millsap
C.J. Miles
Shawn Marion
Gerald Wallace
Raja bell
Kyle Korver
Brevin Knight
Matt Harping
Ronnie Price
Kosta Koufos
Morris Almond.
This team would be a top 5 team easily and a contender IMO, Here is why: D-will is a superb leader and PG, Ronnie brewer is just that good role player you can count on. Okur is a consistent scoring machine. Paul millsap gives you points and rebounds like a all-star (If he allready isn't), marion just a great all around do it all player, points, rebounds , lock down D. Gerald wallace, High flying offensive cross move driving multi dimensional player, raja bell 3's and lock down D.
Now here is one question that needs to be answered on the jazz and one thing that lingers in my mind... How will the bench do... Well lmk what you think of this starting line-up and the bench
PG-Deron Williams
SG- Gerald Wallace
Forward- Shawn Marion
Power Forward Or Center- Paul Millsap
Power Forward Or Center- Mehemet Okur
Bench: Ronnie Brewer, C.J. Miles, Kyle Korver, Brevin Knight, Raja Bell, Matt Harping, Ronnie Price, Kosta Koufos, Morris almond
The bench isnt great... here is who would backup okur and millsap? koufos? I say drop brevin knight and let ronnie price take over the 2nd pg spot and then go out and sign a big like dikembe Mutombo or even some young guy with athleticism. Then maybe you have mutombo as a backup with kosta Koufos (Who hasn't played bad)
There you go jazz fans, Your team will now win a NBA Championship and sloan will finally win!
