But they did say it was for 3 years with a 4th year player option. I'm presuming he's signing for 20 mil/yr.
As well he announced he will be donating $1 million into the community of Toronto. Pretty sweet, got to watch him the sign the cheque.
In other Raptors news the Raptors have done a sign and trade for John Salmons. Salmons gets a 5 year deal worth a reported $23 million and the Sixers get a 2007 Second round pick as well as a $2 million trade exception.

i'm pretty sure it's less than $20mil/yr. For a max contract off rookie scale, they'd get like 16mil/yr and this isnt a max contract.
Glad to see them lock up some talent for a good while...
