I think this should actually going to the Entertainment forums, as this forum is primarily for trading/selling video games. But you of course need to get Madden 09 for PS3, Oblivion IV Elder Scrolls, Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance, GTA 4, COD 4

Good recommendations by Solid. Those are probably some of the first games I would consider if I purchased a PS3.

A neat racing game I've noticed lately is called "Pure" - off-track racing (4-wheelers, etc) with tons of stunts. I think it looked cool from a portion of a video review.

Best bang for your buck IMO would be Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. At $29.99 you can't go wrong.
