I read in the newspaper that Barça plans on buying Adebayor from Arsenal and Arshavin from Zenic, in order to join Messi and Henry as the offensive end of the team. What do you think of these players in Barça?
Both are overrated.... Barca can take both, we won't worry too much about either.
Adebayor had a decent season, he had that hot run and then he crashed. Arshavin is overhyped right now b/c he had a goood Euro 2008 Tourney. He played great for Zenit but let's be serious... Zenit? The best team they played all year was Bayern. Going from Russia to Spain is a massive jump. I think he'll score 7 goals (which isn't bad) this upcoming season. He has plenty to prove imo.

This is happening a lot lately. Players who have 2-3 great matches are scouted from big clubs and hired for tremendous contracts. I don't know if Barça still wants Arshavin after yesterday's match
