well lebron did his part he needs the other players to step up and score.
gibson may be out for tomorrows game so that takes away a shooter. wally looked horrible. delonte came on strong at the end of the game but it was already too late.
yeah, he shot under .500 again, including 0-5 from 3-pt land, had 4 turnovers (which is actually under his avg for the series, well under), only had 3 reb and 5 assts, also well under his avg. then he went on air talking in 3rd person about how his game was good but his team needs to play better and how a "lebron james team never gets desperate". he has turned into a cocky guy who fails to see the flaws in his own game but is quick to point out others shortcommings. he is in my mind a LITTLE over-rated and should be known as "prince" James instead of "king" james until he can learn to step up and be a real leader. with the exception of game 6 against detroit last yr, he has been a disappointmnet in the playoffs, especially this yr.

Z is a great shooter and he needs to spread out the D.
as far as Varejao that kid has lost what he had last year he used to get into guys heads and agitate people now he just flops around like some idiot.
the rest of the guys arent bad joe smith comes off the bench and scores. delonte has his nights, as does wally and gibson

I totally agree. That's why everyone thinks he will go to NJ and hook up with his pal Jay-z when he becomes a free agent. He want to be rich and play in a big market. He doesn't have that in Cleveland.

yup he is ove-rated
consider the fact that he averaged 30ppg 7apg and 7rpg in the regular season.
only 2 other players in the history of the game have done that
Oscar Robertson and MJ

I honestly can't see blaming Lebron for any of this, whatsoever. He's playing against the best defensive team statistically in years, and is essentially playing one-on-five 48 minutes a game. The rest of the Cavs are basically a joke. Big Z is competent and Varejao would be a rotation player on any team in the league, but other than that you have a bunch of underachievers and poor shooters. Don't let Lebron waste away with this team!

self confidence is manifest on the court, in clutch moments of games. These are the times when he comes up short or gives the ball up, affraid to take the last shot. Not on camera, or in a press conference. LeBron has never been a clutch player, and unless something radical happens, he never will be.

again, regular season! when you have the ball in your hands every posession, and your playing in the ultra-tough eastern conference, and youy put your stats on the top of your priority list, i see how he did it. but now it's playoff time and the real teams are exposing the world to his weaknesses. Simply make him shoot, fill up the lane and make him shoot, then he is just a below avg shooter who fills up his stat sheet at an alarming rate of %26 FG.

.. and as far as not putting the blame on LeBron, he is putting up the worst shooting performance of any playoff performer in the last 40+ years (min. of 60 shot attempts, going into last nights game). if anyone else on the team was playing like him, every one of you would be ripping into him and calling for his head, but apparently, LeBron is infallible.

no, he got through game 6 vs detroit himself. i honestly believe he couldn't have lead his team to the finals without Boobie Gibson's incredible shooting during the playoffs last yr. mr. gibson won a couple games for the cavs and came up huge more than once.

I don't hate LeBron, I just think people have unjustly elevated him to "the greatest player on the planet". I believe He is easily in the top 10 and maybe even in the top 5 or 6 best players in the NBA. He is good, i Just think his game is too unrefined and that he has a ways to go before he will deserve all the praise that everyone threw at him from the moment he came into the league. He was always praised for making his teamates better, but this yr, i think he has started to believe that he is the greatest thing since MJ and that he can do it all by himself, which obviously isn't true. i think that the game 6 vs detroit last yr was the worst thing that could have happened to the cavs. since then it seems he looks for himself as the 1st 2nd and 3rd option before he looks to his teamates. I was saying alot of this same stuff about Kobe before he turned things around. again, i'm just a realist, and my devotion does not lie with just one player.
