Theres a New Champ on Raw..

John Cena defeated Edge last night to reclaim the WWE raw title from the rated R superstar Edge...WOOHOOO

I dont like Edge, dont like his "mike" antics and never really thought he was much of a wrestler...and I hate the Lita angle stuff..

Kurt Angle retained the Smackdown title by beating the snot out of Mark henry and his new manager Daviri BUT... in the most exciting news of the night.. The Dead Man returned... in a horse drawn carriage and somehow forced the ring to collapse.. it was awesome... setting up the Undertaker to become the next Smackdown champ very soon!!!..I love the Undertaker.. Mean Mark Callas.. he is charisma personified and just electrifys the crowds...
Hopefully that will be a headlining event at Wrestle Mania..

Rey Mysterio was the 2nd person in to the roayal Rumble and won!! he eliminated Orton who looked to have reformed his allegiance with Triple H... I guess we'll wait and see on that one... and The McMahons put the screws to HBK as Shane..(mr Money) Mcmahon came to the ring in the middle of the match and eliminated HBK... HBK then went nuts destorying everyone and everything in site... Also Kane and Big Show (the Tag team champs) took out their frustrations on each other.. guess we'll see what storylines develop from that...

Micki James defeated Ashley... and trish was referee and man you got to love the side tying shorts she had on...Purrrrr.... Mickie James did profess her love for trish definelty setting up a storyline for her vs trish for the title...maybe as soon as tonights episode.. I expect Mickie to win the title before wrestlemania so Trish or Ashley can reclaim the title at Wrestlemania.. time for a changing of the guard and for trish to take a break again...

Greg Helms the former Hurrican won the Cruiserweight title so he is headed for smackdown..

All in all it was the usual stuff for Royal Rumble as the Mcmahons set up for Wrestlemania...

Thanks for the update - I can't afford PPVs and my basic cable package doesn't have PPV option either - very sucky!

Anyway -I DON'T like Cena reclaiming the Title BECAUSE fans enjoy him as the contender and not the CHAMP - he was booed to hell the last month before he teamed with Flair in the Carolinas (Flair's stomping ground). Bad mistake - this isn't the curserweights or for that matter WCW in it's dying days when titles changed as frequently as changing a diaper on a baby. Makes the fans say what happened?!? It cheapens the AURA of the CHAMP and the TITLE. And if the PLANNED idea is still to put the belt back on TTT at WM can you say nepotism?!? and ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ - man TTT is SOOO "ME ME ME"

Darn...also lose the chance of Edge being CHAMP in Bizzaro world CANADA -- now that would be a HOT show!

Too bad Mark Henry got the snot beat out of him - I really enjoyed his last 2-3 weeks on Smackdown - very well protected on TV and he did look unstoppable. As for Kurt Angle - reports was his neck was in serious pain again were he lost feeling in hand AGAIN during last weeks Mexico tour, so his future is in doubt. Although he'll probably work thru the pain, it's not in his best interest heatlh wise.

Undertaker as a veteran gimick wrestler is OK, but as CHAMP - HECK NOOOOOOO. Taker is the only one with a part time schedule (rarely tours the house shows) and recently contracted Hepititis C for Bob Orton....blood is a staple of getting guys over...without it won't be as suspenseful for the fans.

As for Mysterio winning the RUMBLE that's a semi shocker - isn't the winner supposed to be contender to the RAW title?!? With the exception of Rey beating Big Show on the Guerrero Tribute show, we already seen him get squashed by SHOW and Henry several times now. Interesting as to where this goes for Rey...DO they dare to put a "WORLD" belt on the smallest guy on either roster?!? THINK LONG TERM and the effects on the Hispanic audience and I say it's worth a shot PROVIDED he's portected.

I like the McMahon/Michaels dynamics for WM - too bad "you've(McMahon) got no chance in hell" to get Bret Hart for the show.

and expect him to team up with HBK to win tag titles at wrestlemania both wearing masks!! Mcmahon is going to pretend to boot michales so he can don the mask.. think Dr ken Ramey and the Interns....!!!

Cena is transitional champ (bischoff behind the scenes) he will lose ON TV to Masters in next few weeks...and lose rematch to masters opening the door for...

Rey Rey will win raw title at Wrestlemania from masters

Undertaker will win title from Angle.. as Angle has neck surgery scheduled for summer

Upon Batistas return (summer slam ?) he will beat Undertaker prompting the dead man to retire...

I don't buy it -- you can't promote already made stars under a hood. But I do expect Michaels/McMahon match at WM. Hitman IS NOT COMING - I WILL quit my Brunell collection if he appears! Well maybe not but he not coming - "I Guaren damn tee IT"

AGAIN I don't believe that HHH will allow himself to go to the "B" show - too self-centered

Man RAW was flat 1/30 - nothing exciting like the last 3 weeks - however I do like how James and Stratus story is continuing. The Lita DQ at the end of the Title match is interesting...I can see them go in several directions there.

Lastly, I don't buy into rumors too much unless it's reported as news by Dave Meltzer and a lesser extent Wade Keller. You got to remember all the swerving of the "boys" and the internet fans AND all the last day, last minute, last second changes that happen on a daily basis!

That Ric Flair indeed was to win the title from Edge that Night..

You ever notice the earpiece and mike the referee wears... thats mcmahon/Bicshoff whomever In constant communication witht the back..

If the Crowd would have been absolutely nuts that nut and going bonkers as Flair climbed the ladder that mcmahon was going to let him win one final time..

As it is.. Flair is done...

Who knows where he comes up with this stuff but about 75% of the time he is right
