So I just picked up a nice new shaq card for my PC and after some investigating this is what I have discovered. My card is not serial numbered. According to beckett this set is numbered to /25. All the others that I have seen are stamped with a ser num. Then I remembered the Fleer Bankruptcy auction. But I dont see any other of these being sold. SO My question is Fake or Mistake? Either way it is PC and I am not gonna part with it, I am just curious.

That's tough to say. Fleer did have some nasty patches in some products. The fact that this card has no serial numbering stamped on the back leads me to think it was one of the cards that surfaced after the Fleer bankruptcy auction and possibly had the swatches added at that time. I would probably err on the side of caution and stay away.

The back of the card says they are suppose to be Lakers jerseys. Those patches are quite red. It could be a mistake but couple that with the no numbering thing and it seems suspicious to me.

I collect rookie cards. Please check my list to see if you have anything I need.

I am looking for Don Mattingly cards that I don't have. Base, Inserts, Patches, maybe GU or Autos.

huh..I would have gone the other way. I would have said post BK card where the serial # was left off so they could replace a specific one if needed and place the #ing then. The jersey and patch pieces are in the proper place and aren't outlandish.

Yep, that is what I was thinking.

At first glance I was thinking this was a Fleer bankruptcy hand out. Most of that stuff did not have numbering as it was intended to replace any damages. I got a nice three color patch as one of my items from the bankruptcy and I beleive it was not numbered as well. My only issue with this piece is the swatches are Heat swatches, while the card clearly reads Laker swatches. Not sure what the others show, but if they have Lakers swatches, then I think it is faked.

I have the single game used jersey version of this card and it has a purple swatch of a Lakers uniform. I pulled mine from a retail box.

WOW Lots of good stuff here all thanks. Well Like I said this is PC so I am not that worried, but I really am a little upset that it is so hard to tell anymore due to the Falling of the Fleer CO. This sure is a tough call to make whether I get fleer products ever again.. Thanks.
